@@stanleyshack26 the strings are ADG. When it’s 3 2 0, it third fret on A, second fret on D and open G. It’s a C chord minus the first fret on B. This is a triad. So three notes per chord kinda deal.
These chords have their roots in old school quartet playing style. especially the use of the whammy...nice reharmonization of old school chord progressions

Fred Hammond, Kim Burrell, Marcus Cole, Luther Barnes & Sunset Jubilaires, John P Kee, Marvin Sapp, Isreal Houghton, probably Gaithers too, all have great guitar players.
This is a very nice little tutorial. I started adding this stuff in to my playing on a gig last night and got some looks from the other band members. They were digging it as it's not a sound I usually use. Thanks.

I think it's just doing palm muted double stops up the minor pentatonic(maybe?). It's a scale, dunno which one lol.

You're not playing the inversions because you are still playing bass on top note, inversions is the third note or the fifth note on the bass.
