I am sorry, there is an incorrect information i this video. The portuguese court fled from Lisbon, the capital of Portuguese Empire, because of Napoleon invasion, not from Porto. Porto is important for Portugal formation as Kingdom, but since Lisboa is taken from Muslims in the Reconquista, it became Portugal's capital.

The Portuguese court fled from Lisbon, the capital of the Portuguese Empire, because of Napoleon’s invasion. We did mention that the royal family moved from Lisbon; however, we incorrectly stated they went to Porto when they actually moved to Rio de Janeiro, making it the de facto capital during that time. We appreciate your help in keeping our content accurate and informative. Thanks again for your valuable input!
