I am really amazed how Topping can make such a good DAC for such little money. A European or North American manufacturer will ask for 1000 bucks for this quality on a DAC.

I'll be honest, I had never used a DAC before, and neither had my friends, but I thought I'd give it a shot. So, I ended up purchasing the Topping E30 II. However, it didn't quite meet the expectations. I didn't notice any significant improvement. Perhaps it's because I'm not using it with high-end speakers, but it left me underwhelmed. I can't help but feel it wasn't the best investment on my part. While my experience might not perfectly align with others', I believe it's valuable to share my perspective. I just bought the Smsl D6 and I can say the level of detail is astounding. Combined with monoblocked smsl a300 into Monolith Encore B6 desktop speakers, and I can say for $1,000 this setup beats my other $4,000 one. Every piece compliments the other and produces amazing clear tight bass, highs that sing but zero fatigue.
@@joecharpentier6636 I bought a new SMSL SU-1 dac for the TV and the sound is excellent. I also have the previous Topping E30, Topping DX3 pro plus and Sabaj A20d dacs. I like the sound of the Topping DX3 pro plus the best and the sound of the SMSL SU-1 the second best.
What difference does the cable make ? I have see measurements down to -140db which show no difference. You can't possibly hear at that level, or can you !
@@Tharbamar Great ! I was also looking at the iFi ZEN Air CAN, but I don't know if you have tested it and if it is better or worse (30% cheaper than the Topping). I had a wonderful Micro ICAN IFI a few years ago, but it blew due to an electrical problem at home... Thanks again for your quick response.
Topping E30 II vs E 50 in system Marantz pm 6006 + Dali Oberon 3? I am currently using Cambridge dac magic 100. Is it worth the exchange and what should I choose?
I bought the Topping E50 and it only shows pcm and 44.1. I have tidal hi-fi plus and it doesn't recognize my dsd and mqa. I do not know what to do. Do I have to return it to you? If someone can help me. Thank you.
Personally I preferred E30II over E50 in sound signature, L30II is more engaging to listen to and L50 is a bit more flatter if I remember it right, thanks
@@Tharbamar how come the measurements show it has a flat frequency response ? Perfectly flat ! Just like it should. What headphones did you use ? I would like to check out the frequency response of them . But it's still a good story, even though it's fictional.
@@r423sdex Flat frequency response is not the measurement result of 20hz to 20khz that is why novice inexperienced people makes the argument base on the graph, audio and music has more to it than what you see on the graph.
@@Tharbamar you confused me ! Is the amp flat or not ? ASR measurements say it's the flattest he's ever tested . So your saying he is wrong, and his measurements are wrong. It's flat out to 200 khz and way below 20 Hz. And the noise floor is what is analyser is capable of. I know you have to make money from RUclips but you surely no this is true.
@@r423sdex Like I said above music and audio have more to it than measurements can show you, can they measure 3D stereo image or width of the sound stage? certainly none of the current state of the art precision measuring equipment can measure emotional connection of THE music, probably and only A.I. can do that maybe in next 20 years or so, all I'm saying is relying on measurement graph alone don't tell you the whole story of actual music listening experience. I do not care what Amir or anybody says because I have my own ears to discern what I like and don't like. Music enjoyment is personal so don't care for other opinions, cheers!

How would you compare the sound of the E30 ll to the SMSL D-6, SU-6 and DO 100? How about to the Sabaj A10d and A20d?

Hi, so with a small budget Topping L30 II is a good choice with a Fiio X5 (Gen1) and Sennheiser HD 650 ?

More like going sideways, although E30II or E50 will be much better performing than DM100 on the specs and noise performance.

Topping l30 ll has no sound signature ! It's flat and transparent, it's in the numbers. But great story though!
