Really had nothing to do with Jessica. Five of those six championship points were lost by Kalinskaya making weak unforced errors mostly weak nervous shots into the net. Just a classic choke job by Kalinskaya. Hard to watch really because you see it sometimes in tennis but cringing in a final match when a player just can’t get past the mental hurdle of winning their first tournament.

Tremendous match from both players. Great week of tennis overall at these grass warm-ups, though the rain was a big issues, and unfortunately, there were some retirements. Another odd ailment for Rybakina. Pegula vs. Gauff & Kalinskaya/Azarenka were both intense thrillers. Sinner vs. Hurkacz was great, too. My 1st time seeing Pegulat win a title.

Great drama, l love Jessica Pegula and always cheer for her success but her opponent choked big time. Pegula seems to be very good at staying focused and hanging in there. Those are the qualities of a champion.

Congratulations to Jessica, but Anna should move her legs more. Sometimes she looks stuck to ground, even when she is preparing the hit. It's a big mistake in her game. she hast a great Potential but she needs being more active with her Body and Take Care her unforced errors

Kalanskya blows chances time and again just being real! I saw her lose 3 times to Paolini for no valid reason other than bad mental trips ! She can be great but has a propensity to shoot her own foot!
