- This is a Steiner tractor with a custom built loader and backhoe attachment. This tractor is 4 wheel drive and articulates. It is powered by a 22 HP Kohler Command V-twin. These are not modified John Deere, Kubota, or any other brand of attachments. These were custom built for this Steiner tractor. They are NOT Steiner tractor parts. The loader bucket is about 42 inches wide. As you can see the tractor has no problems lifting the bucket when full of dirt.
An articulating tlb with a smaller footprint than a typical scut tlb...I'm in love with this thing!
Nice to see this machine back in action!
I like how it has the claw on the front that always comes in handy
Very interesting unit, love the fab work someone did. Thanks for the video
Nice machine. I visited the factory where they are built in Wisconsin, thinking about working there. It's a nice company, they build a lot of different machines for different brands like mowers, aerators, ect.
Still got this beast?
I like the steiner also. Sure digs with that 4wd.
That loader is attached differently to the Steiner, is it home made. Looks strong and out of the way.
Can you tell me more about the front loader? I just picked up an old Steiner 410 and would absolutely love to get a front loader (or at least a slip scoop) for it.
Did you tie into the stock hydro pump and just use a spool valve to control cylinders? Very nice fab and creates so much more uses for the tractor!
Is it For Sale? 22 years ago, I bought a New 420, when I first saw one, my thought was, it’s a miniature skidder. With close to 700 hours on the 3 cylinder 21 horse gas Kobota, I keep telling others that it’s a Gargoyle. If I can’t find attachments like yours, then I will build them.
So the whole family is forced to watch ... Better than disneyland!
Can u make a video of u using the backhoe part of the machine? U switching from using the loader to using the backhoe.
Would if we could. This tractor was sold a few years ago.
@@EshlemaniaTV oh. Ok. Well thanks anyway. But I still like it. Before you sold it could u do a video of u using the backhoe part of the machine????
WOW that’s awesome, but where’s the rops?
That looks like a bad ass machine!
What loader and backhoe is that
They were custom built
It's a cool tractor, just wish they could make these with an engine that ran at a lower RPM and or quieter exhaust... listening to that engine scream at 3600 RPM all day would get old quick. I am wanting to build one of these using Case 400 series rear ends articulating with a front bucket. Build it like a conventional mini Payloader running a rear mounted Wisconsin TJD engine governed no more than 2600 RPM. and use a nice quiet exhaust. The back hoe is cool but would want it on a seperate machine as it would not get used that much.
Home mode tractor?
Modified loader, homemade backhoe, and a Steiner tractor
I would like to see the backhoe in action
I'll see what I can do.
Whats the relationship with stiner and ventracs?
The Steiner family started building tractors in the 70s. They sold the tractor part off in I think 1988. It has sence been sold to a few other companies. In 1998 the Steiner family started making tractors again under Ventrac. They are now two totally diffrent companies. If I were to buy a new machine it would be a Ventrac for sure.
WOW!!!!!
To much wheel spin,, needs duel's and/or wheel weights
