Protein is the only food that your body can use for organ and muscle synthesis. We generally eat around one gram per one pound of lean body mass. For me at 150 lbs, that about 140-170 grams of protein daily. I workout every day in strength training, key for us seniors in avoiding sarcopenia. We follow intermittent eating daily two meals maximum per day! I am a retired economist but do a lot of research in many topics. You look great!😊. I should add that we all eat a fruits, seeds and nuts, and vegetables high in potassium and magnesium! I have to say that you are different from nutritionists here in the states! Good for you and I know you understand what real nutrition is!
I'm coming to Krakow in a couple weeks for at least 3 months. Will you come with me for my first grocery shopping?! 🤣 I get so overwhelmed in new countries the first couple times so I end up with random stuff, then I don't find the "good" stores right away...it's a disaster lol. I tried to switch to Skyr from Greek, but I didn't like the consistency. Maybe I could try adding the berries or granola.
Yes, I can definitely appreciate how challenging it is to navigate new grocery stores! In Krakow, I would recommend the following: Carrefour: mid-price point. It's easy to navigate, and the one inside Galeria Krakowska is really nice! Market Point: more expensive/specialty store. I like the store on Pułkownika Francesco Nullo. Lidl: more affordable, but you may not find everything you need. Biedronka: the cheapest (and local) option, but also the most chaotic. And yes, if you struggle with the texture of Skyr yogurt, try adding berries and granola to see if that makes a difference :)
@@SarahAchleithner Thank you! I've been in France for a few months and I gravitate to Carrefour here also so it'll be slightly familiar (hopefully). I'll be staying by Galeria Kazmierz, which I think has one. Congratulations by the way!!!
