1:21 Good news for you, they recently added, the “safer seas” mode, which is basically giving you a private session. Hopefully this will let you enjoy the sea of thieves much better. I know a lot of the sot community will talk shit about it, but I say whatever helps people enjoy the game more.
Great video. Reminds me of when I was sailing across the map for a quest with some friends at like 2 in the morning. One of my friends was sitting at the front of the ship and ending up accidently falling asleep at his desk to the sounds of the waves and creaking ship.

If you didn’t want to play online where you can get gunned down, the Tall Tales are actually so fun and kind of like a giant puzzle you get to solve, but without people interrupting! They are time consuming, so if you have someone to play with that could go faster, but you take your time with games anyway so I thought I’d suggest it! If you want 😉❤️ love this game so I was excited to see you did a video of it!
U should see if u could do multiplayer with other asmrtists and then lower the audio of other players… idk if that will work? just an idea… love ur asmrs btw 💕 ✨
I'm right there with you! I love the art style and the gameplay is fun, just too online-y with mean players. Maybe I'll have to check out the singleplayer as well! I will say that the coop aspect of running a ship together is fun, just wish you could do that without risking pvp.
My friends and I used to sing the Black Flag shanties in the hallway at school! What a great game haha
they are adding a feature, i think rumoured around somewhere in December called “safer seas” you’re the only boat on this server, only thing is money is cut by 70%

I just started playing this game!!!! I hoped the multiplayer would be more chill kinda roleplayish but ig im getting the true pirate experience😔
there are tons of ppl who are friendly and will roleplay with you. you just have to find them. just remember to stay friendly but cautious and have fun with the game
Don't give up on PvP, it can be really frustating but the skill comes with practice . Once you get a little bit of experience the pvp becomes really enjoyable and unique .
@@deathbringerswill2066 yeah, but OP made it pretty clear they DON'T WANT any PvP. they only want to play multiplayer for some pirate roleplaying and getting to sail with friends, rather than getting into PvP battles with other players.

Oh I was gonna check this out with my friends since we have game pass. Glad you put out a vid for this gameplay.
A few things:
>Only five of the tall tales take you to a single player game instance. Most of them are played in the shared world and can be interrupted by other players. Unless you choose the upcoming Safer Seas, of course!
>Hostile NPCs spawn on islands, but not on inactive skeleton forts! Keel Haul Fort may have looked intimidating, but it was actually the safer option than the islands you sailed to lmao.
>You had water in your bilge because your boat sat in a rainstorm. Your bucket is located in your radial menu. ;)
>Rowboats naturally spawn on islands. Seldom will you find a rowboat that was actually rowed there by a player.
>Raising your sail all the way up and coming to a natural stop is much better than lowering your anchor all the time. If you have to panic drop the anchor to stop, then at least raise your sail and then the anchor after you do so. That way you can drop sail and take off immediately when you're ready to leave.
>That "Handbrake Turn" notification wasn't the game telling you that you were doing something wrong. That was you getting an achievement lol!

90% of this game is pvp/pve,but i dont know about upcoming update when they add "soloq".
just to warn you, there can be chill relaxing times but a lot of the time enemy players will hunt you down and sink you. Not really a cozy game unless you don't care about losing your loot.

Sea of thieves is very relaxing, maybe try a pirates of the Caribbean tall tale, you won’t find players
2:36 you really should try the "Monkey" Island tall tale.. its honestly really fun and realxing for some reason..

@@d0wngrad391 they obviously meant the sound design, graphics, and sailing were relaxing. of course no one thinks that getting gunned down by other players is relaxing lol, but it is really nice to just hop aboard a ship and take in the full experience. i agree with OP, Sea of Thieves is really relaxing and peaceful from time to time in between the more chaotic moments.
