- This healthy, Low-Carb, and Keto version of Chick-Fil-A Sauce is incredible! As one of my all time favorite dipping sauces, I had to figure out a healthy version of it. Making this sauce is incredibly easy and with basic ingredients you likely already have!

30g (2 tbsp) fat-free Greek yogurt
30g (2 tbsp) Ray's Sugar Free BBQ Sauce (amzn.to/3pPnZ7s)

In my opinion this is fairly keto. The allulose is a sugar alcohol and can be subtracted from total carbs. Your mileage may vary.
Yup! Agreed!
Not technically a sugar alcohol, but the same results. Though it doesn't get listed under carbs on most labels, while sugar alcohols do, making them easier to subtract. An important point in reading labels, as anything containing allulose will appear to have more net carbs than are actually digestible.

ohh I am making sauce tonight .. I have some other keto bbq sauce it's pretty good.. gonna have to give it a try even if it's not the original as long as its edible it's another flavor.. thanks for all you do in helping with making food fun and delicious

Question- how can I get Rays SF to-caramelize on bbq chicken? Possible? Add more allulose? Thanks Dennis
It will surely caramelize, but it will caramelize MUCH sooner than with real bbq sauce - allulose browns at a lower temp.
@@BlackTieKitchen I think I learned the “char” way. Made some wings for dinner using the doctored up SF Rays, allulose and apple cider vinegar, don’t step away from the air fryer! Lesson learned but it has some real possibilities -thanks D!

Never tried Chick-fil-A, as we don't have this chain where I live (Canada). We have Ray's sauce in our grocery store, but unfortunately, no sugar free. I could try making something up, but I don't have the Chick-fil-A sauce to compare with.....but I did so enjoy your video....you're the bomb. Love your videos, always brings a smile to my face. I’ve never tried any chik-fil-a sauces, but I’ve only eaten there once. I didn’t like it. I thought the chicken was tasteless and dry, so, maybe it NEEDS sauce! 😂😂😂

After 2 and half years on keto and 150 lb down I've temporarily transitioned to a High Protien low calorie diet. As I not only plateaued over almost a year but I've gained 15 lb the last few months. I saw this video when you posted it but didn't jump to click on it bc I assumed it would be high calorie. Super happy to see its a low calorie mock up.
Are you changing your diet too? Trying new things out?
I've been more low-carb, but went back to a high protein, low-carb diet. It's what's worked best for me and my health markers!

Welcome back! Do you enjoy the taste of fat-free Greek yogurt by itself? I tried it not too long ago and it was pretty dreadful. How much of the flavor from the yogurt is prevalent in the sauce?
I used to dislike it, but Ive grown to like it. The sauce itself doesnt get much flavor of it - it just serves as a 'filler' of sorts for the other flavors!
Can you use liquid allulose? Believe would change consistency so add more gum?
It should be fine - it will make it a little more watered, but try it before adding more xanthan gum. At this amount of sauce, adding more gum is a tricky endeavor!
Ray's Sugar Free bbq sauce.... You Americans have the best variety of keto low carb products.

Mind if I get your attention? Fundamentally, only a few people truly feel that fake sugar and carb substitutes are a realistic way to eat. I adore your channel. Your videography is fantastic! Your character and personality shine through so well! The skits are so entertaining! There are too many food choices that are delicious and easy that don't rely on carbs. Have you ever had things like Roasted Duck Curry? I'm not even diabetic and I still forgot about the rice! Food is not a search for Carb substitutes! Show me skewers that I haven't even thought about. Id love to sit and chat.
I have - and yes, there's a whole world of flavor out there. But there's also a balance of getting others to think differently and think consciously about their food. There are enough people who think that 5 minutes is too long to make a meal - and unfortunately, they would not be making roast duck.

I'm all about finding ways to make delicious sauces/toppings that aren't a giant calorie bomb, especially when the calories come from potentially dubious plant oils. I wonder if the use of Greek yogurt would generalize to a teppanyaki restaurant-style yum-yum sauce.

If you can get G Hughes' sugar free barbeque sauce you'll find it is excellent and only two carbs per serving, making this more keto. They also have a great sugar free ketchup that rivals anything Heinz has, as well as a wide variety of sugar free sauces. PS this is an unsolicited recommendation lol!

I'm assuming that 15g of allulose is one tablespoon? I use diluted sucralose for anything that won't get heated.
Also, to prevent xan gum from clumping, just dissolve it in a little oil. MCT is a good choice if the recipe doesn't have oil already.
Yeah - its just about 15g. The reason I didnt dissolve the xanthan in anything was because I didnt want to adjust the recipe flavors!
@@BlackTieKitchen Understandable. Though, for how little xanthan you used, you might have gotten away with less than an 1/8th of a teaspoon of something like high-oleic sunflower or light olive oil. I'd test myself, but CFA hasn't expanded much to Canada which means I don't have anything to compare it to.
True. With a larger batch, you can probably dissolve it in the lemon juice as well
@@BlackTieKitchen I just tried and it really doesn't like to mix up. For what it's worth, the amount you're using shouldn't need a slurry if you pepper it in really slow and keep whisking.
I loved the sauce whenever I went to chick FIL a. When I saw in the store I think I over used and now can't stand the stuff lol.... I'll need some time to recoup

I have never had Chick-fil-a sauce, but I looked it up. Is it the calories that make it unhealthy? That sounds so "eat less move more." Isn't it the ingredients? Soybean oil is number 1. It has sugar and corn syrup, many artificial flavors and all kinds of other stuff. I am surprised it is calories that you are focused on.
Sugar and corn syrup aren't inherently bad - it's their over consumption (especially since they are very calorically dense). By focusing on calories, it forces you to focus on all the things that encompass the meal. For example - there were many a people when Keto first started becoming popular that simply thought "you can eat all the bacon you want!" - sure it might be 'healthier' in a keto sense, but it's calorically dense, so you can really only eat so many before you actually start to pack on weight.
G. Hughes makes a great dupe also, but it's def not low calorie. Buuut it's 1 carb for 2 tbs. It's called famous cluckin

You dont pick up any mayo or mustard flavor - and since theres no mayo in this recipe, yes, definitely try it!
