My favourite along with Ambra Aurea (Profumum Roma) and Ambre Sultan (SL). RJs are quite unique. Thank you for comparing it with AR (PdE), which I have yet to try - well nothing from PdE yet. Hopefully I can later this year.
Ambre Sultan will always be my reference amber, the one that owns my heart, the one I compare all others to. That said, Ambre Loup is very nice, but sadly, after the spectacular smoky resinous opening, it doesn’t develop as great on my skin as for example AS does. I know, there are people who have that type of magical skin which brings out all the warmth and fuzziness in a perfume. For those, I am sure, this works amazingly well.
@@TheScentinel different enough? Probably not but i got mine for 12 pound, for 12 pound it is fantastic. Its well blended, very soft and cool for an amber. A bit like ambre sultan in that way but not as good. Was a great designer release at the time, dsquared² have been sold now and all their scents discontinued, the new effort is shocking. Have u tried the old hewoods?
@@TheScentinel rocky mountain hewood is a great cheapy, if u can get that 25-30 quid well worth it, salty watery woody vibe. Be a great spring summer for u coming up, doesn't smell cheap as it is
for anyone new to fragrances this fragrance opens smelling like urine. 100% sample before buy. The drydown however is arguably one of the best most unique ambers.
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm gonna try it have a blessed night
Enjoyed this review. Thankyou. ☺
I do love the sound of this one, must try and smell it soon!
Thanks for the comparisons. It will help me keep them sorted in my head.
Thank YOU for watching Amy
I'm in South Oz and would like to know where you purchased from ? Thanks for the review.
@tanm96 At the time O bought it from an online retailer here in Australia called LKNU, but I don't think they exist anymore
I have a bottle of this, and Ambre Sultan.
I don't know your third pick, but if its like the other 2, I'll have to sample it.
Excellent review.

That's a good one too. Have you tried Ambre Fetiche
@@TheScentinel not yet. ☹️ That's another reference 'amber' I should sample. Thanks for the reminder. 😊
For a quite quick review it was very detailed Pep. Hat’s off for that. I really want to put my nose on this one.
Thank you
ambre russe and amber sultan just seem feminine to me. so was happy to discover this.
Thanks for this review, Pep. I've been curious. Although I think I already have my holy grail ambers, one more couldn't hurt 😆.🌹Xo Sam
I like to have a palette of ambers😁 thank you x
*I will look for a decant :) Thank you :) I'm a big fan of amber too.*

I’ve got about 300 to spend on fragrances. Any interesting suggestions? I was thinking mousse illuminee.
Oh that is difficult euro, usd, pound?
The Scentinel USD
@@iancampbell1494 well i would suggest you certainly sample some Rogue Perfumery in general. For sure.
Also, in the next week or two, i'll be talking about a few scents that dont get talked about much.
