for himself: to play, develop and expand his care experience? YES definitely, it was the right choice for Man City: I think they miss having him as an extra body to come in and impact games.
Alvarez received a lot of hate and doubt for leaving City… but props to him he jumped ship at the right time and while he may not win a trophy with Atletico, he is contributing more than Haaland is to his own team.
@Sebastian-dq8zj Haaland has 12 goals in 13 Premier League matches and 5 goals in 5 Champions League matches already this season. Alvarez left because he wanted to be a full time starter and not the 12th man covering for multiple positions at City. But Haaland himself is having a fantastic season and might break his own EPL goal scoring record of 36 goals.
@@Photosoflife not gonna break any records mate. I acknowledge he started off very well with 12 goals but that is the minimum when you have such a perfectly assembled team with players like KDB Silva or Doku. Truth is that Haaland does not contribute much unless he is scoring. I don’t see City clawing their way back this season nor do I see Haaland doing very well.
@@Photosoflife football is a team sport bruv here's a little tip for you when your in a better team strikers score more goals and man city is worse then last year
ESPN continuously miss the point of playing a high line, it's not to catch people offside but to win the ball higher up the pitch and do quick counters, you're in opposition's penalty box in 2 seconds if you win the ball high up and have pacy wingers. The whole catching them offside thing is just a bonus that comes with it. And it's not that easy to breach if the backline is well drilled and coordinated
10 goals in 21 games for Atleti while still figuring out the system yet already having Simeone hand over the team to him as Griezmann enters his last months… Yes. He made the right choice.
Wait😅. I can swear Alex Moreno is the guy 3 months ago said Alvarez might have just made the biggest mistake of his career. I watched it after Alvarez signed for us😂😂. You guys are such Hipocrytes
@Kwami357 Pep didn’t make Alvarez leave. Alvarez no longer wanted to be the 12th player filling in for Haaland, De Bruyne, Foden, etc. He wanted to be the main man and he wasn’t going to be that at City with Haaland as the 9.

I love Alvarez, but this Atletico... still super weak, I dont see them solid, and are far from the big teams. They would continue struggling if they dont hire really good players, Premier League type of players.
Super weak u say and they're 3rd in la liga, least goals conceded and made it to the quarter final of last year's champions league, consistent in champions league and made it to 2 finals, okay then
He’s scored 5 goals in 15 matches in La Liga. Nothing special whatsoever. Besides his work ethic which is terrific he’s as basic of a striker that there is. His first touch is still poor at times. He doesn’t possess great pace, doesn’t possess great vision. Runs around and occasionally scores the odd goal. To get 80 million for him was an absolute steal by City!
They never finished below Top 3 during Someone's era and even won Laliga a couple of times. They regularly play champions league football and went as far as a champions league final. Which makes them a very consistent and successful team. Many teams fall of grace and fail to play champions.
