What about forex? Do you recommend swing trading it? Also I found that trading stocks in the 2-10 dollar price range with an institutional ownership of 40% or more has very predictable and repeated price moves.

The cheaper a stock is the less likely it is to have large institutions stabilizing it, supporting it, and most importantly buying a lot of it which equals better follow through. You want lots of institutions buying (or selling) the stock at once to get stronger, more enduring price action... This would at least be part of his reason. Very expensive stocks are hard to trade for obvious reasons on the other hand.
@@insider235 Thanks for the explanation, that makes sense. I always debate whether I should stick to well-known stock or to trade the top gainer stock on the day. The only downside for the top gainer stock, you don't have the edge as OV mentioned since you down trade them every day.
Superb video Oliver thanks….seems to me that a flat 200 sma is powerful to cover most of what you say, (and this is what we learnt from you in the first instance for trading) , or the changes in direction, or curl of the 20 sma, close or far from the 200 sma as the turning point that act as a springboard in the direction or slope of the 20 sma…such choice make the trade objective and based on reading the charts correctly…

Hi Oliver, why you don't recommend stock below $30? Some stocks below that price also easy to trade and less capital required, thanks!
