Aaron Jackson Talks 'California Dreams' Reunion Concert at NYCC

He may have played a "surf dude with an attitude" but Aaron Jackson, a Pennsylvania native definitely lived the California Dream upon moving to the west coast and landing the role if Mark Winkle in the NBC Saturday morning series, 'California Dreams', running from 1992 to 1997.
Jackson, who is now a drama teacher in South Florida is reuniting with his co-stars for the first time in three decades to perform at STITCH Bar and Blues in New York City, following their meet and greet at New York Comic Con on Friday, October 14, 2023. Apart of the show will be Thomas Ian Nicholas' band, simply titled Thomas Nicholas Band to keep the nostalgia train rolling. The concert is simply called, "90s Dreams Fan Fest."
'California Dreams' was produced by Peter Engels (Saved by the Bell) and created by Brett Dewey and Ronald B. Solomon, that introduced themes of drunk driving, acknowledging America's dark past with slavery and romantic hear break for a tween audience that was coming into adulthood.
Jackson, also works with numerous charitable organization such as D.A.R.E., Make-A-Wish, St. Jude's Hospital, Special Olympics, the Love Ride for MDA, and the Ami Thom Foundation, just to name a few, took time out of his busy schedule before heading to New York as the entire cast, including Brentley Gore and Heidi Lenhart, who left after the first two seasons.
Friday's Meet and Greet will be head at New York Comic Con from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. shortly after the convention floor closes. Jackson takes Jennie Kwon for organizing reunion not only at NYCC but also the concert where the cast of 'California Dreams' will perform a roughly 90-minute set.

Aaron came up to me and my 2 small children in 1993ish in a laundry mat in burbank Cali. Then he came up to me while he was in a parade in burbank not long after. I was so shy tho!! I blew it lol 😂
