You have my deepest respect from Boosted Boris and for where you are now. Well done and a great journey to have followed all years. I watch all your videos, but sometimes it's just "the same". A quick car, roll cage, helmets, and quick around the track with not so much - or none talk at all. These are just running in the background for me and of course enjoying the noise. But this one - yes! I stopped working and watch all of it. So awesome and down to earth and all of you were having a blast. The guy in the back - epic :D I hope you don't take it the wrong way. Yep, slow cars are fun to push hard. I love today's fast cars, but I seldom have the location or the skill to truly test their limits. Some of the most fun I've had driving has been in MX-5s. Maybe I should get one again, a cheap used one, just to flog around.
If you are going to get one of the older ones, you better get one now. The prices are already coming up quite a lot for good condition NAs. And yes get one and drive it all year long. My NA is the most fun car that I have ever had in the winter on snow and ice. And I have had many many fun cars. And you are also correct about the speeds. I had Model 3 Performance before my NA and speeds were absolutely crazy. 120kmh four wheel powerslide on icy motorway ramp felt like nothing and I could accelerate legally only around 4seconds and I was over the motorway speed limit. With the slow NA I can use all of the 115hp all the time everywhere. Getting to motorway speed takes a lot of seconds and four gears of full throttle with all the revs.
@@lknowledge Yes, I know the feeling. Loved my bulletproof '06 NC. A family emergency had me dirive it up into the Rockies in a blizzard. The car just dealt with it. Today I drive an 800+hp Lucid Air GT. It handles incredibly well on my favorite twisties (Rockies, Ozarks) but isn't as alive feeling as the old Mazda. I did track days all the time in that Miata but have yet to get up the nerve to take the costly Lucid out among the usual track day hooligans.
Dude, Miata isn't exactly a slow car. It's definitely much lighter and more powerful than average car in EU. The actual slow car is something like VW Polo SDI or Toyota Aygo.
I'm 41 and have learned that the funnest cars on a track are often the "slowest" cars. I'd put on good tires, brakes, and some suspension mods like sway bars and go have some relatively cheap fun. Fast and expensive cars give me too much anxiety to beat on 😂
E36 content is the best content (as the owner of a 328 & a miata😎 this was just perfect!) that Miata owner is so sad to hear it was a 4cyl😂 what a great lap!
I love adding the rear passenger camera to the video. Love the reaction of driver and front passenger but the back passengers reaction equally adds to the excitment.
Man the onboards with the slower cars are always so fun. Loved the "battle" with the MX5 and the fact that he was vibing with you too made it even more exciting. For sure do more laps with cars of this category this year. Btw you still can't have more then 4 people if the car is a seven seater ? That would be brilliant if that's allowed.

318is easily can survive more then TIV 😉🤣🤣. In my country this engine easily can be pump to 360-400hp with no problems. 318is is a fast vs 320 , and can take more tune.
I always love watching to very different but evenly matched supercars "battling" it out on the Nordschleife! On the one hand the Miata has the power to weight advantage but on the other hand the 318i is red!
I have a fun one for you: Ford Fiesta MK3 Calypso with a 1.3 carb engine producing 58hp 😂 Would probably don’t even make it on the first part of the track
My funniest trip was actually with the slowest car I have ever driven 🤣🤣 Citroen Berlingo 2.0HDI 90hp, which was fully loaded with car parts and almost lying down on the ground. We laughed so much with my friend, after that my stomach hurt.

I have two 318is, one is E36 compact rally car and one is E30. I beat Honda civic type R (147kw) on tarmac with it all season at rally sprints, just love the bimmers and it shows that a good driver can beat hire kw cars with the knowlage and skill.
Slow cars being driven fast are always fun, I've got a few cars, but around the city of Sydney my kei cars are the best fun, your driving the wheels off them & not breaking the speed limit, most of the time anyway, Rj in Oz

A couple of years back, some friends and I rented a club track. We all brought our cars, and traded off between ourselves. The fleet included a Nissan GTR and a lightly modded ND2 Miata. Guess which of the two was more fun? Oh yeah, also a lightly modded Fiesta ST, which was renamed "the village bicycle", because everyone drove the crap out of it.
Hey Misha! I'm planning to do my first trip to the Nürburgring in early june with my 325i Touring. You say it's not allowed to be 5 in the same car in the video, but as far as I check on the official website, you can have as many passengers as you have seats. Is it correct?

I love your attitude on the track of pointing out common mistakes on this track from other drivers like the RS6? and the Miata/MX-5 lifting throttle. Also im sure u never drive a 100 with passangers. something in this cars fuel system isnt workin corretly, the L/100 gauge should go higher full throttle uphill, the car is a little faster than this (lol). enjoyed the video!

tbh it's really fun starting from 150 HP. much lower and you're out of conversation even with your good mates on the straights :D
