I just heard Lucy Woodward captivating from Center Stage, accompanied by a world class rhythm section, surrounded by a pro big band of horns, playing a brilliant long-form composition filled with exotic rhythms and unique orchestrations.... All in a world-class audio/video engineering production... that is all :-O
This is what it might've sounded like if you wanted to form a blues band but decided to get Matt Garstka, Tim Lefebvre and Mark Lettieri as the core members of your band instead 🤯
This is crazy good arrangement and performance, with awesome musicianship. Love it. I can't stop listening to it, enjoy it every time and discover new subtleties each time. Bravo !
From about 1 minute 37sec the 😂song started to move, with the jutting rhythm guitar interacting with the horns impulsively. I like this jazz blues rendition. It is very ambitious work.
First couple of minutes sound great and makes me want to listen til the end… but by 3:30 the arrangement has already plateaued big time… At 5:00 I’m checking out. Thanks anyway 🙏
