    Thank you for another excellent video. This was the video that turned me into a StreetBob fan (and an Infinit Ryda fan lol.) IMO, the FXBB/FXST are excellent starter bikes, and I agree with you 💯. Get the bike you want. I’m not faulting anyone for starting out on a 250, a 500, a 750, an 883 or a 1200. Displacement is important, BUT the respect that you have for the machine you’re sitting on, the practice you put in, and the technique you use are way more important. For a newer rider, the weight of the bike is more important than the displacement, so I would be careful about starting out on a 900 pound bike. But again, respect for the power and size, proper technique and regular practice, can and will overcome the size and displacement of the bike. I did the MSF at an HD dealership, then bought a Street Bob as my first bike ever. I follow the motovloggers, and I practice regularly. I love it and I always wanna ride. I agree: The StreetBob, at 655 pounds, is perfect for most newer riders.

      Love mine too!! putting on the forward controls just made it 100% better. raised the tank 2 inches, and instead of having chrome accents I'm going with black, mirrors, axle nut covers, gas cap, and while it is in storage, black 12 inch Skinnyz handle bars from Dean Speed Custom.
      It is sooo enjoyable to ride, the power of the M8 107 is awesome!!!

    This was the first bike a I fell in love with but everyone was telling me not to pull the trigger on it. Everyone told me to get a Honda rebel. I still haven’t bought a bike yet but this video gave me the confidence to feel free to make the choice my self. Thank you

    • @theinfinitryda
      @theinfinitryda  2 года назад +2

      Definitely make your own choices. Never listen to someone else. I’ve learned by making that mistake. You won’t be happy with others decisions but you can always tell them if they think the Honda Rebel is the perfect bike for you then you are accepting free bikes and donations. lol.

    Never ridden a bike period. I took the Msf course back in November and passed it. I was looking at iron 883 but I had a feeling I was a little tall for it. I’m 6’2 and I went to a Harley dealership and sat on one. I was a little cramped and I was approached by the general manager actually and talked about the bike. I was asking about financing a bike. He actually told me street bob would actually suit me better. I did let him know I was a new rider and never ridden before. He told me I would be fine and wouldn’t get bored. Now I know the engine is bigger than iron 883. So my question is, is this bike a good bike to own as a beginner bike and a newer rider with only riding experience is from the msf course? I don’t want something too powerful but yet I don’t want something I’m going to get bored with

    Does your opinion of this bike being appropriate for a beginner change af all now that the new model has the 114?
    I'm considering the Street Bob and the Triumph Bonneville T120 as a beginner. Which do you believe would be better?

    New Rider here and Beginner, I just got a 2020 FXBB Street Bob and have a question regarding the clutch and gear shifting, I noticed when I pull the clutch in all the way, and half click up you hear it click but the Neutral light "N" doesn't seem to illuminate. I even make sure I am in first gear and repeat the step by pulling the clutch in and going down on the gear shifter to first, then half click to Neutral, hear the click but no indication with the light showing "N". However IF I do the same process with out holding the clutch in, I am able to go to Neutral with the "N" does illuminate.

    • @theinfinitryda
      @theinfinitryda  5 месяцев назад

      Sounds like it’s just sensitive. Try that and let the clutch go slowly and see if the bikes moves. If it doesn’t it’s in neutral

    i grew up riding dirtbikes a bit, owned a yamaha fz07 for a year and want to move to a harley. 5'10 and a buck 40 so not a big guy. the iron 1200 is a bit narrow for my liking and i love how this bike looks but dont want to be in over my head not so much worried about the power as much as the overall size and weight of the bike.

    • @theinfinitryda
      @theinfinitryda  4 года назад +1

    As a new rider, I love this cruiser and the ST standard, and I'm pretty tired of the sportsters being pushed on me. Maybe they work for most new riders but it just wasn't for me when I sat on it. The ergonomics didn't feel right but the street bob and the standard feel amazing. But they are hardly ever recommended as a "beginner friendly" bike, so I really appreciate your review. It was honest and straightforward.

    I’ll be soon taking the MSF, have see your videos on the Series, Iron 1200 and this, I’ll be a new rider, after 40years, 😂, had that feeling always of riding a bike. Have see different opinions on the bikes, the street bobber is the bike I like the most, I don’t want to get something and get bored and loose money later. For someone that will be conscious of the power it makes, it seems it’s more comfortable overall than the 1200, which is the other bike I was looking, is that correct?, also I’m 5’8”, will this bike be an issue? Great video IR 👍

      A.B. Totally agree. WTH is wrong with this reviewer? A 114 on the lightest frame is good for a new rider??? No, just no. New riders, beware you WILL drop THIS bike, a few times. Worse, there is a very strong risk you will lose control at key points and do something that gets you hurt. This is a bike you have to already have good habits formed in order to ride safely.
