My 2nd bike in my life was a 1971 Suzuki T350cc motorcycle. I’m 65 now. How I really loved that motorcycle immensely. Wish I still had it and I shed a bit of emotion now that I see this Suzuki winning the classic show. Kudos to the winner in restoring this gem of a bike. Cheers NZ.
I remember it being sold as the "Titan-500." Beautiful restoration of a very well made machine that was a real Interstate blaster in its day. Nice video--nice restoration.
I had one of the 500,s pretty well gave it away 20 years ago, wasnt this one thankfully!! Ive always been a Suzuki guy, and love the Gt250 series, i had many a great time on one (had 5 of them) and in standard form an Rd250 would beet it, but not one of mine! would love another one to rebuild
I have just restored the same model same colour except I didn’t like the blue so I painted it green, from the earlier model, same pin stripes same badges, it’s not concourse but it is a riders restoration, it only gets ridden about three to four times a year, it’s all original, it is an American import I live in Australia, you are right about getting parts,it’s most times very hard to get some nice parts, that bike of yours very beautiful very well done.
Looks great, lucky to find an original bike from this era, my Suzuki GT380 had GT185 front end, Yamaha RD250 rear wheel, unknown exhaust system and many missing parts.
An absolute fantastic achievement, what an enormous amount of effort must have gone into it to achieve this standard. A worthy winner. However such fastidiously restored bikes aren't my personal choice, I prefer a restored one that you can enjoy riding and even take out in the rain. Each to his own.
I had one of these could never get carbs balanced for more than a few rides. Same colour, beautiful bike. First motorcycle I did a 100mph on and be able to hold it. They sounded incredible too. I miss all the polishing of the chrome

Wow! What a restoration! Have fond memories of the one I had in 1975, brand new, in that exact colour. 😎
I rode my cousin's near-new Titan in 1977. First time I topped the ton. Told everyone, except mum. 😎
Me too, bought mine new in Swansea in '75.
Stunning.
Fantastic attention to detail a beautiful restoration.

🙂👍
Had a t500 in 1978 in that same colour 👍yours is a lovely bike 👌
I’ve still got the rubber gear shaft rubber cover. I think you need a grab rail on there
Wow!!
Geoff Perry nearly won the Daytona 200 on one of these in 1972. They were great bikes, someway overshadowed by Kawasaki Mach IIIs here in the states.
From memory the chain broke on the last lap while he was in the lead
Superb.

👍👍👍 Good job.
The question you should have asked - "Do you ride it?".
I bet he doesn't definitely not in the wet. A motorcycle is for using not just looking at, that's my opinion for what it's worth.

picked a good bike to work on. t500 is king of the middle-weights, for my money.

I want to ride it .
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I don't remember the UK t500 having high handlebars .
Yes, I can assure you they did. I had two of them
Tried to watch it 3 times, and it would only play about 6 seconds
I sold a blue gt550 to someone in the Early 80,s and it was in boxes with no 2nd gear wonder if that was the bike lol 😆 😂 mike north Skelton Cleveland
Less of the "Old British People"!!!
