- In my final shifts working at the theater, I wanted to share my experiences to the public. I want to give a shoutout to all my former co-workers. You guys are the best. I hope you all enjoy the video!

As an employee at a theater we do not resell popcorn all of the unsold bags get thrown away and fresh popcorn is made either when the warmer is low or its closing time and we cannot sell anymore
(when they take all drawers) and the buliding is empty
You call it the TMS or the Theatre Management System, usually using Rossetta Bridge. You can create your movie playlist, the time slot, ingest the DCP, unlock using the KDMs. Usual brands for projectors are BARCO and Christie(Digital) except for the 35mms. 😊😊
Domenick, I did this for a lot of years, but I doubt I could handle it during this pandemic. Dammit, people were infuriating then. I couldn't imagine now. Oh, and I was scheduled for many shifts as the projectionist, before they made you do 5 jobs for the pay of one.

@@jackdalton6900 hmmm. Sound very enthusiastic abt the job. They like when folks have open availability. Ig it couldn't hurt to look at the stubs membership differences bc towards the end of my interview the manager made me "sell/pitch" her a membership thing. It's rly easy tho you'll do awesome, good luck!
Have you ever had an issue where the key for the movie, didn't come in right away when the movie did?
They usually send keys before the content arrives. If we dont get keys we email the company and they usually get them to us within 15 minutes. Ive had keys come in as late as 3 minutes before show time and the entire theatre had no Idea that we were that close to not being able to play their movie.

When did you start working with the projectors was it right away or was it something you worked up the ladder for?
I didn’t work with the projectors until I became a manager. It took me a year to be a manager. I do not work there anymore though

They went through all that trouble during covid to keep everyone safe, but they don't even wear gloves when scooping popcorn? That should be done even if there was no pandemic when handling food.
