I really like your videos, very entertaining. I’ve learned that when you’re refitting the crown and stem you always push the stem release. Maybe I’m wrong haha 😂 love to know what your opinion is.

It's a lovely looking watch. If I might suggest you cut the excess dial feet off and file smooth away from the exposed movement.
I usually do that. But on this build I decided not to.

Lovely build, just the bezel is off for a gmt build. I really think it needs the 24 hour bezel and not the 60 min one

Try NH35 gmt dial.
Nice. A bit on the fast side maybe. Take your time and dont stress to ne fast… would be nice with link to alternative dials, and the braces… or else i woud just mess up and order wrong parts. I ordered one of the aliexpress seiko 5, and waiting on it to arrive, butlooks fun to build also.
Yeah it’s really fun. And I’ll take that on board, I don’t want the video to be too long so I aim for 10 minutes. It could easily be 30

I have purchased and fitted a 24 hr GMT pepsi bezel. I have recorded the video I just need to edit it. If you search GMT PEPSI BEZEl on AliX you will fine it. thanks for the comment!
I’m currently waiting on parts for an SKX build. It will have a red and black dial with bgw9 lume, an NH36 with bgw9 lume on the day and date wheels and Mercedes hands with the bgw9 lume. The case itself is black with a red rubber strap and, a red chapter ring and a red and black bezel.

How you doing friend, I have a question.
I am going to build a watch soon and I am planing on making an order for all the parts. I am trouble understanding how to get the right chapter ring.
I am buying a case that is 36mm and a dial that is 28.5mm to fit the case and the NH36 movement. There is a cool chapter ring that I want, which has 31mm outerring and 28mm innerring. Would it fit the case and the dial you think?
I haven’t actually used a chapter ring that isn’t already fitted. I have one I will measure for you later today and I’ll let you know !

i just ordered a bunch of parts, and i even bought chapter rings, so will try to take the crystals off too... wish me luck, in 2 months time when parts arive

@@WaveyWatches here to Denmark, aliexpress usually take 6-8 weeks. Never had enything come sooner then 5 weeks

Am I the only one having problems with the bracelets on the cheap AliX cases?
Everytime I find the edges so sharp that it gets very uncomfortable after some time. I bevel and polish the edges then.
I’ve only ever had one bad bracelet from Ali. The others have all been really nice to be honest

Before anyone comments, I know this bezel is not GMT. I have since ordered and fitted the correct bezel insert. I will be uploading that video in the future
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MaMaCoo watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
Rodico and blu tac are not the same mate. NEVER use blu tac in horology

@@WaveyWatches blu tac leaves some sort of residue, I've often wondered if it has a bit of silicone in it because when it's been on a wall for a while and you remove it, there's always a grease mark or something that's soaked into the surface.

It's awesome but what's annoying is I feel like the parts are way over priced from the suppliers... China is becoming greedy man 🤣🤣🤣 So I just order a good quality cheap brand watch it's called (ARLANCH) amazing quality watch for just 12 dollars... and do whatever I want to it.... That cut my spending maube 90%!! And I get the Same results.. The watch part sellers are such God damn rip offs man 😅😅😅
