Great topic and nicely presented! Likewise, most of my school history was an exercise in memorising dates and events. I only had one teacher in my final year who presented different points of view and encouraged us, the students, to form our own option. This was MIND BLOWING to me at the time and I wish all history was taught like this since it's a valuable skill to process conflicting pieces of information.
