Name another worldwide and mainstream sport where we get to see Chinese athletes personalities? Both Zhang Weili and Li Jingliang are absolute sweethearts of human beings so it makes me so happy inside that everyone is cheering for them.
We're all just people living our life. Fighters or people in general don't represent their government. It's like does Paddy Pimblett represent Boris Johnson or Rishi Sunak LOL. Their just fighters.. But Weili is an incredible athelete and seems like a really nice person. Glad she was able to get the belt back.
@@ashleyniels422 that's my sentiments exactly buddy, no political agenda but just human beings talking/listening to each other... its a wonderful thing and hopefully shows any bigoted people out there that there's far more in common with each other than there is differences.

I was there live, and it was insane to see EVERYONE boo the American, and everyone to cheer for the foreigner, just speaks volumes to how much Weili is loved by the mma community

The reason why I am a fan of Weili is that she epitomizes the very person we all thrive to be, we all thrive to be the best at what we do and yet we try to be humble in our approach. She is a sweetheart outside the ring, but inside she is a warrior.
On a different note, Disney is struggling with their box office numbers, I guarantee if Disney made a movie about Mulan and it stars Weili that movie would be a blockbuster.

Weili used Carla's best weapon to win Carla. Her grab, wrestling improved, yes. But I am more glad to see her mentally stronger than before. During fought Rose, I can see her nervous from her moves and her eyes. But last two fights, she was so relax and confident.
