  • Healthcare Startup Accelerators and Incubators Explained.
Healthcare Startup Accelerators and Incubators are companies (or non-profits) that help startup with:
    1) Office Space, 2) Mentorship, 3) Classes, 4) Networking, 5) Deadlines and Supervision.
A main difference between Accelerators and Incubators is that Accelerators invest in the startups they help, whereas incubators generally do not.
Examples of Healthcare Startup Accelerators include 1) Rock Health, 2) StartUp Health and 3) Health Wildcatters.
One of the key aspects of an Accelerator for a digital health startup focused on employer-sponsored healthcare is that it would be preferable for the Accelerator's connections to be in South and Midwest, as these tend to have more low-margin businesses that place more importance on health plan innovation.

Thumbs up for using "autodidact", maybe the only video on RUclips using this word.

Love your comments on mentors, especially for sales direction. Can I ask you who the "IVR" guy was you worked with? I work in that world and would love to meet him!

Hi Dr. Bricker, this is off topic but I was wondering if you had any network group recommendations for an employee benefits producer? Thanks for the video!

@@ahealthcarez I was looking to join networking groups to talk with employers and find leads. Do you think a BNI or chamber of commerce group would be beneficial? Or are there better options?
