[4K] Elmer's Flying Elephants at Chessington, join us for a flight on everyone's favourite patchwork elephant, simply pick a colourful elephant and take to the skies on this flying carousel
Elmer's Flying Elephants is a Red Baron flat ride manufactured by Preston & Barbieri and located in Adventure Point.
The ride opened in 2020 and sits on the site formally occupied by the carousel. It has, however, been at the resort since 1987 when it was known as Coco the Clown's Flying Jumbos and was located in an area known as Circus World.
When Circus World was rethemed to into Beanoland, the ride was moved to Toytown and renamed to Flying Jumbos until 2013 it replaced the ride Rodeo in the newly created Zufari area. The elephants which were pink in colour were painted grey at this time.
The ride remained here until 2020 where it was renamed Elmer's Flying Elephant and moved to Adventure Point. The elephants were re-painted pink, yellow, blue and green in colour to fit with the Elmer theme
There is no minimum height to ride Elmer's Flying Elephants but children under 1.1m must be accompanied by an adult aged 16+
