In 5 hours, I'd have my first experience working night shift! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Thanks for tips👏🏾👏🏾. You and all night shift nurses🌟 rock. I couldn't do it. I'm a 7-3, 3-11 or now 7a-7p type of nurse..Kudos to You.
Thank you, day shift is just way to overwhelming for me as a new RN
As an LPN I have read some nursing homes require 42 residents to 1 nurse here in CA. Would you suggest starting off NOC shift as a new grad LPN? I graduate in less than 1 month. I’m considering NOC shift & so I truly appreciate your breakdown on how to manage NOC shift.
Nursing homes ratios are very unsafe, however I do recommend starting off night shift, but the perks of day shift is that most nursing homes have med techs so you don't have to pass all the meds just insulin most likely and Narcotics. Night shift you are doing all the meds including the 6am pass.
@@GlamGirl0824 Super informative, I appreciate your advice on this topic. Thank you! ❤️ I’ve got some decisions to make for sure.
