Rate the video! I'm currently restoring my own T25! Just a tip, when taking the sliding door off, there is a much easier method. Slide the door back so the rear carriage wheel is in line with a small dent in the upper part of track. Lift the back of the door and swing that tracking wheel out. The back of the door is then free to move out, slide the door all the way back to the back stops in the top and bottom door slides and turn the back of the door out and it will just slide straight out! Hope this helps for taking it off/on in the future👍🏻
With the hard grinding disc it looks like you’re still over grinding. I think a 2” roll lock flapper wheel works way better on an air powered angle grinder. More control and you can see what you’re grinding way better. Also looking at your welds you need to clean the surfaces better and every time you spot weld the end of the wire is now contaminated. It takes longer, but tack, clip the wire and tack…
Getting closer! I can relate... going through this with my 1980 Vanagon. Mine is my daily driver, which makes this stuff tricky 😬

Nothing wrong with using a flap-disk, you just need to konw how to use them and (as you rightly said) be very aware they can rip off lots of thickness on super thin metal.
Needle sanders are also very useful!

We found out the hard way 🤣 he has ordered another Klokkernholm panel but he is only using the swage lines and manufacturer sets in different pieces rather than one whole panel. Thank you 🤙
