My wish for the materials is for them to use materials that we wouldn’t be afraid to use in the rain, like simple tumbled leather. Doesn’t have to be gore-tex, but just not suede or nubuck so often.
I second this. So hard to wear these more than I’d want to in the winter here with snow 😭
The nubuck is a lot better than suede for the outdoors so they should be good but as someone who lives in the countryside in Ireland so it rains a lot I would find it hard to keep these without destroying them but if you live in the city the nubuck should be fine

This is the first time we saw the canvas material on the MiUSA. It was in the a release 2 releases ago
Just copped these. Very dope colorway. I also wish the nubuck was just nappy suede for a more premium feel. Regardless they are fire. I will rock these early spring/fall and winter when possible.

Good review Josh! Canvas material on the toe box is the same as on the green and purple pair. The canvas material is starting to crease on mine.

I passed on these, but picked up the V1 that dropped along with these. The canvas material is why I passed. Can you do a follow up on the canvas material in a few months to see how it looks?
I just got them and wore them a few times. Quality is top notch. More precise panel placement and stitching than some previous Made in USA iterations I’ve purchased. A couple peculiar things about these though, if you’re on the fence; the nylon canvas will crease immediately after you start wearing them. It’s not at all like their typical mesh material. The other key difference is that this nylon canvas does not breathe as well as the mesh, so your feet will get sweatier - especially in a hot environment. I wouldn’t wear them in the summer where I live. But these aren’t deal-breakers for me. I love these NB’s. My favorite pair I’ve owned.

Thanks for another great review! Did you keep them? Any update on the crease situation? I've been sparingly wearing my Jordan 1 Highs for a little over a year and creasing really isn't a problem. So my guess is that it wouldn't be with these either. Would love your insight if you have any. Thanks!

Loved the CW on these NB's and I did consider copping a pair when they released earlier this week....but they looked too much like "Dad Shoes!" So I passed on them. 🤷♂
