I am a beginner in French Horn and I want to tell my what is the mouthpiece you use please. I have one Yamaha 32c4 and it doesn't fell correct at my lips. I have seen many lesson and you are making an excellent lesson !!! I was ready to drop the idea after two months of lessons , but when i saw your video I start again hoping ! thank you so much
That's good to hear! Thank you! Mouthpieces are I think the aspect of horn playing that I have experimented with the most. There will be a video coming out later about this subject. I am playing now on Werner-Schmidt 173 solist. But I have to say that the mouthpiece that works for me might not necessarily work for you. There are many aspects to consider and every person is unique.
@@austrismusic I think it is meant the difference between "einsetzen" = to put the mouthpiece o n the lower lip an "ansetzen" = to put the mouthpiece a g a i n s t the lower lip
For beginners it's more about finding your way. I've seen the craziest embouchures also with world class players. For them it works because everyone's mouth, lips, jaw etc. are different.
Thank you for the information
