What I love most about Elijah is that with Klaus, there is a warning when something bad is going to happen to you. Elijah is the snake in the Mikaelson motto. He strikes without warning to kill only to prove his point. This was great.
klaus is definitlely smarter and more strat based but also more narcisistic about being the top of the food chain and rubs it in everyone's face that if he is gonna kill you their aint alot many people can do elijah on the other hand understands that while among the strongest beings alive rebellions are not fun and we saw it with klaus when his line was broken thousands flooded new orleans to destroy his life and make him suffer while with elijah it aint likely to happen like that because he doesn't leave people to spread rumors like klaus and kol do he just kills you and unless your a seer you aint gonna know its coming in most cases which to me is why he is scary he is a mikaelson but unlike rebekah kol and klaus he doesn't let the fact he is at the top go to his head as much as them he just demands respect which as someone who is 1020 or around that he kinda has the right to respect although his red door issue deducts points cus he may be careless enough to leave witnesses
