Thank you Lorraine! I am just getting started in lampworking and I have pinned this for later when I get some more practice, but your video is very clear and I cannot wait to try a flower bead! :)
Wow this is beautiful. I am just now researching this craft and can't wait to get started. Would love a tip on where to purchase affordable glass, if you would be willing to share :) After seeing this video I am more excited than ever to start. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing this! It was so much fun to try it. I'm going to make more of these to practice the technique, I'm really enjoying it ^_^
Hi Kate. Thank You for posting. Lampworking is so addictive you are going to have a blast. Feel free to share and post your pics on my FB page. I would love to see your work. Happy creating :) Wishing you a fantastic Easter too. xL
Hi... yes I totally agree.. this was a big tank of a video recorder at the time.. now I connect with people via a WhatsApp or fb video call to share in live time: the visuals are clearer for one and live time allows for conversation , demos and questions on the spot. If ever you have a question.. I'm always happy to share discovered knowledge if I can. Happy Creating!
Great tutorial. Beautiful flower bead. Looks fun. TFS! Assuming this is NOT a good project for a total beginner? Do you have a USA online source for the glass rods and stringers? Haven't a clue where to start. I'd like to make my own lampwork beads to go with my enameled elements. I also emailed you via your site.
Hi Jdmorgan. Absolutely. I got these from leonardolampwork once on their website.. select "Tools" and there you will find the petal pullers and petal presses. I have the small size. I hope this helps.
Hi Janette... this was posted 3 months ago... how are you getting on? you can email me directly at lorraine@dowdle.co.nz I would be happy to help as best I can. x
