      Ask the wrestlers ,it was Todd Gordon. Todd even found put after the fact that Paul blew off investors and never told Todd because Paul wanted ecw to never make money while Todd was owner so Todd would eventually give up controlling interest to Paul..Paul is a slimeball

    When I discovered ECW I was immediately hooked and made me love Pro Wrestling that much more. Without Paulie so many people wouldn't have been a name in history by a long run. Glad this man is getting his flowers and getting to be put into the HOF while he's still here.

    I satyed up on until 1 in the morning to watch ECW as a kid every week. That 1 hour made me and my friends week. Im probably stiff aching from the "Back yard" matches i had with my boy Carl. Im pretty sure i have a few ruptured disc's in my back from those days. Long live E...C...W!!!!!

      From Brooklyn, NY. I didn't have cable. Used to come on at 2:00am on Saturday nights into Sunday, on one of the antenna channels we had that we never watched. Taped most of the episodes. Was so disappointed if we missed one. If you weren't there, you have no idea what these guys are talking about. ECW was can't miss.

      In Paul's word Roman never needed him to get over, his presence however gives Roman the space to actually be the version of himself that can get over.Roman is a natural monster heel but as WWE wanted him to be Cena 2.0, he cannot express himself the way he could have been, when Roman can return he requested to work with Heyman and with Heyman always having chemistry with those he was familiar with it just became so natural they have to put it on tv, hence the tribal chief was born

    Being born and raised in Philadelphia, I used to go to the ECW Arena every single month from 1993 until 2000 and the emotion that Tommy dreamer showed is the emotion that every single ECW fan had you had to be at those shows they weren’t just regular wrestling shows they were experiences pulling up to the arena at nine in the morning just to make sure you’d be able to get in and get a decent seat drinking beers eating pizza smoking weed with people you didn’t even fucking know but you all were bonded and united by your love of ECW I miss those days

    When I was a kid, ECW was the most crazy thing I discovered. It came on super late at night. I had to stay up late to watch it but man. Al Snow was a beast, RVD was my favorite and his trilogies with Sabu were legendary

    I think they should bring ECW back, but add it with Wwe and nxt or you could add it with smack down and roll and make it your third roster. You didn’t have to eliminate it. It could’ve been a third roster and you can make NXT that could’ve been.

    The ECW days were epic. I saw many an awesome show at the old ECW arena in South Philly including the very first ppv Barely Legal. I am an ECW mark 4 Life.

    It should definitely be a wrestler from ECW that experienced the ups, downs, trials and tribulations of the rise and fall of ECW. For most of us that are familiar with the attitude era, just remember the WWE's attitude era was inspired by ECW. Whether its Tommy Dreamer, Bully Ray, D-Von, Sabu or anyone from ECW, just let it be someone that has the stories that we all want to hear that we never heard before. Good, Bad or Ugly and Indifferent, give Paul E Dangerously aka Paul Heyman his flowers.
