    You can save much time by not recording in Edison but instead replacing the MIDI file as a audio wave file by right clicking in the selection bar on the midi tract and then following all ur steps. But also I’d suggest not cutting each beat shorting them but instead when in your sample box you turn on transient bleeding. That’ll automatic do what you just did

    I often the reverse effect with leads, before the drop hits. I also do something similar manually, playing a very fast sequence of short notes rising up, playing with velocity and cutoff
