What I consider a best alternative is calling all the open source llm models through API...instead of downloading on local system, better we import it through API. For e.g Groq seems an option for API calling llm purposes. But for very large projects...installing models is preferable.
groq would still be cheaper than whereever you host , wouldnt it, also models like gemini flash if you want high context length input it would take insane amount of kv cache to be able to self host it feasibly economical ,but then again mujhe nhi pta

@@dumbol8126 I'm not saying that using groq is that best option, but rather to claim that it is the only option unless you go with paid plans.

This is a huge problem for gen ai projects that why i go to my college lab for gen ai peojects there are some pcs which have 128 gb ram and 3tb rom😮😮
