This is so good. I just ordered one of these and was nervous about the sound quality after watching some other videos, but you have shown it can sound amazing.
I think this is the most engaged I've seen Taj with the FX-typically he's fairly hands-off by comparison. Anyway, this was WAY more compelling than usual. Anyone jamming for real on an SP should be at least this busy all the time, else you're just baby-sitting beats. ;) Cheers!
@Bryans Ferry That's a remarkably nihilistic point of view. Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, and I'm not here to tell anyone what to like or who to admire; but, as a musician myself, I choose to acknowledge and appreciate the achievement and the humanity of music, especially with respect to the "performance" of it. Never mind knob twiddling, which is already lowbrow enough in the greater context of all things music; coming soon is the day when most pop music will be generated entirely by A.I. Now, you're welcome to embrace that, if you've nothing personally vested in the integrity of human knowledge or accomplishment; but don't come at me on behalf of "most people", presuming to tout what music is about... I simply congratulated a job well done, from a knowing perspective, and challenged a colleague of mine to always throw down and never phone-it-in. Maybe you don't understand that mindset, and that's fine too, but it is what drives innovation and inspires excellence. Cheers!
so is he building the whole track in a door or something and then because the sample times are so ridiculously long on the SP he's uploading the entire track and then basically just playing the mfx??
Smooth as hell , the whole set
Proper.
