Figured out how to adjust volume so I don't miss having dedicated buttons for that and the F keys, I'm not too pressed on. I plan on getting a macropad anyway. Only thing I wish is if it had a nice shiny metal backplate. Definitely deserves it's place amongst the other highlighted low-profiles.

Basically, taking laptop components, and turning them into fully-functional keyboards as a means of conserving resources and preventing e-waste from tossing out whole laptops even if much of the components outside the motherboard still have utility. Maybe Hipyo can make some fun videos about that Perhaps, taking a broken laptop and harvesting the display for a portable video solution, and keyboard / trackpad for input, then pairing it with a mini-PC to create an ersatz Mac Mini; moreso if an Intel-based machine can be hackintosh'd.
Can't do qmk support because that requires a mcu compatible with it such as atmega32u4, at90usb1286 etc. and if the laptops keyboard's mcu is able to flash qmk firmware onto it, you'd still need to put the laptops mcu into bootloader mode which is a challenge in itself. Those things just aren't designed for it. But putting the laptops keyboard inside a case to make it into a standalone keyboard is like kind of possible in theory. You'd need to find the dimensions for every angle of the keyboard, then could do something like 3d print a case for it, but It would be janky at best. Then you would need to figure out the ribbon cable situation. They're usually very short and unprotected. You'd need to find a compatible ribbon cable that's much longer, and ideally find a way to protect it since it's now exposed. I don't know everything in the world so I could be wrong and there could be an easier way, but overall, IMO it's not worth the effort.

I want the best low profile, low latency, hot swappable keyboard with RGB. I am currently using a Logitech MX Keys S. So, you have to beat that as starting point. I like the weight and a lot of things about this keyboard, however the keys get worn and shiny looking and they are not replaceable switches and keys really. BTW, I would prefer a 75%

Howdy hey! Can you please create a video explaining the QMK firmware customization tutorials for custom rgb patterns and other such custom implementations. Because to me the default rgb modes in keychron aren't working need some custom ones in there.

Clicky slander is not appreciated.
exactly. i like my keyboard to be so loud you can hear it with headphones on. i want my friends and family to hear it. i want the neighbors to complain. i cant do a silent keyboard
Yeah, all he has heard are mx style clickies, not anything like alps or vintage switches
Are you going to test the Vulcan II TKL Pro? It's available for around 150€ right now, and I would think from the specs alone it's a cheaper and good alternative to the Wooting. Gateron switches, pretty good oiled, although a bit more hallow than my 60HE. I'm very surprised with the offering as I'm not particular a fan of TB. Seems like they might have a very good product here for once.
This looks great and sounds better, but I just can't deal with no F row. I am very tempted with a low profile keyboard after hearing this though
Day one, of telling Hipyo Tech to check out the Year of the Dragon keyboard.
Hi Hipyo, can you rewiew the Cherry XTRFY K5V2 keyboard please?
It even has the Cherry MX2A red switches so you can try them too.
I am thinking about buying this keyboard, but i wanna hear your thoughts about it first-
Thank you
yeah, that would actually be reallly cool
looks like a really cute comfy keyboard
I have a knob addiction too, but they left my mouth and throat tasting like copper.
Are there HE switches that can sound this creamy? And any that are low-profile?
Well I just bought this one based on your video and using your link. :D Thank you for the 5% off and also the detailed review! This is the first keyboard I've every bought and I'm looking forward to it. If it wasn't for you, I would have picked up that Higround Topograph one because it looked cool. :'D But this one looks way better and you actually gave it your approval! :D Thanks!
Hey, how has your experience been so far? I’ve seen a couple of posts on reddit about iqunix keyboards being very short on lifetime and also company being very problematic in terms of customer service.
There's only one question that needs to be asked, "Is the knob creamy, will it always be creamy, or will the creamy-ness come and go?" Ha ha.
Hey Hipyo, could you actually make a guide on how to make a keyboard sound creamy as you did for a thocky one? I couldn't find anything for it ... Only people saying you should go linear and I don't want to.
Okay so i came across your channel tryna compliment this new pc i built and wow i didnt know there was layers to these things. I am overwhelmed. With a budget of 100 dollar what do i get? Theres soo much to consider 😢help
How to access Alt+F4 combination on this keyboard?
I would've bought this if shipping wasn't $19. Creamy and built for mac? May be the perfect keeb for me.
Hi Hipyo!
Recently discovered your channel in my desire to join the custom keyboard world. I have also discovered the Keychron K2 HE, it looks amazing to me in the white special edition, any chance you will be getting a hold of a Keychron K2 HE to review?
I would love a 75% version of this!
Imagine giving up the numpad just to get these useless buttons instead LMAO
Next up, the super epic awesome creamy keyboard list that is under 200.
One of the things that always makes me sad is wanting/needing a UK layout for keyboards. It seems to rule out almost all the nice things I see on this channel :(
Love the keyboard the sound and everything but I wish it had a Cap lock indicator.
BTW, I would prefer a 75%
My Nuphy Air 75v2 fits on top of my ROG Zephyrus g16, but never gotten used to it. It's just not comfortable to type with a keyboard resting on your laptop.
Hi Hipyo, could you do a video on silent fullsize keebs for losers like me? Or some easily moddable options like the Keychron V6/Q6 Max.
The Q6 is expensive as heck -.- Thinking about getting the V6 max because I'm too lazy to look for a good work keeb.
Try the "Coke mod"
Take some old switches and soak them up in Coke.
They will be slow and sticky but the sound is so Creamy
Ik I stopped asking for it but pls review the Dareu ek 75 pro
I used to be into creamy keyboards but now I'm all about the moist keyboards.
Only the driest, most desiccated keyboards for me.
@@AuraDragoness Like when you type you can hear the keys dryly wheeze
They should have put the extra buttons on the left side instead. Would have been perfect imo.
How does it compare to lofree flow and doesnit support linux ?
Have you seen the leaks for the Glorious gmmk 3?? Any thoughts on the all plastic body move from aluminum?
Howdy hey! Can you please create a video explaining the QMK firmware customization tutorials for custom rgb patterns and other such custom implementations. Because to me the default rgb modes in keychron aren't working need some custom ones in there.
Do you recommend Nuphy Air60 v2 or IQUNIX Magi65 in overall?
Hello. What would you recommend when it comes to silent HE switches? Would you recommend Gamakay TK75 HE 75% with Phoenix Silent magnetic switches?
i have to admit i've watched a ton of your videos and I feel no closer to understanding how to decide what to buy- it all feels abstract. there's no decision tree.
i would buy this if the extra cluser was on the left side of the keyboard. i love my southpaw keebs
He finally did a creamy keybord
