I wouldn't go deeper than 15 feet with that thing from the fear of it malfunctioning and leaving you to what air you have left in you to get to the surface.
I own one, the engine will shut off after 3-4 meters which is a very easy distance to cover, even with empty lungs.

All I can imagine is him diving below the water, right into a great white.
Right? And then trying to outrun the great white with that thing, but it slips from your fingers. Then you have to try and grab back onto it and accelerate quickly enough to escape the jaws of the shark that is now gaining on you.

@@glovozagreb6594 cap. 3 minutes is very good. As a national level water polo player I can only stay under about a minute and a half, maybe a bit over. Only for about a minute 15 when freedoving at an absolute limit. Depth of about 15m

For those curious, this is the wreck of the "Elviscot" at Pomonte on the isle of Elba, Italy.
How did it even end up in shallow water.
@@Bleucatmoon_ The ship itself isn't very large. It was grounded on a nearby rock during rough weather and sank in around 11 meters in the following months
@@Bleucatmoon_ i live on the island, my father told me on a storm it crashed on a nearby rock formation and slowly sunk, it carried alot of sugar so when people went to swim close there the water was a bit sugary

Nah he diving only like 15ft, u can go up to 130ft if ur used to it without having to equalise the pressure

Uh.. you can’t achieve the same thing with fins. The whole point of spending 20k for one of these is SO you can go fast. That’s like seeing a Lamborghini and being like .. it’s pretty cool and all but you can do the same thing with a pair rollerblades, and not scare off all the squirrels and birds.

these have actually been around since the 1950's. there was an old tv show called "sea hunt" with Lloyd bridges. he regularly used one as a navy scuba diver.
