    It costs money to make money! But you'll spend a lot more if forced to replace such items on the job site so KUDOS on this video of not only HOW to get the roller change done but SAFELY get it done. That's great safety information and if only ONE viewer is helped out or tells someone else, then great job! Hey, that track reminded me of an old cheap 'watch band' then came the "Twisto-Flex"! Thank you BOSS! Sonny

    Mike, nice educational video for those that have never done something like that. I found myself doing something similar last week. I threw a track off of my trackhoe and you might know it was in a rough spot to work on it. Never comes off on a cement pad where you can easily jack it up. It had to be in a ditch with all kinds of trash around me. Just my luck.

    Love these mechanical vids.Worked in trades for years.Hey Boss,just a suggestion.Start using ANTI-SIEZE on your fasteners.Anything subjected to dirty,wet conditions is prone to rust and siezure.LOCTITE makes a good product,brush it on your thereads and bolt shanks.it can save hrs of headaches down the road,and it doesn't wash out over time like an oil or grease will.FYI

    • @DIRT-BOSS
      @DIRT-BOSS  3 года назад +1

      I understand about the anti-seize I use it on a lot of stuff but this actually calls for loctite on the bolts because of all the vibration they will come right back out

    nice repair mike, when you removed those old roller bolts with an impact you should use an impact socket, ive had chrome ones explode. i dont want to sound like a jerk, just looking out for your safety. ive been a school bus mechanic for 32 years. also when installing the rollers you could put medium strength loc-tite on the bolts to ensure not loosening, but being able to remove again. could you soak track with diesel fuel and oil mix maybe.
