I’m in my first year of the rad program in Massachusetts and I have those frustrating days pretty often lol. This program is no joke, I feel like I never have a consistent week and I’m a zombieee most days! I’m so thankful to be in the program though and wouldn’t change it for the world
Yeah, it’s so much information and so many comps you need to complete. I constantly feel like I’m behind and trying to catch up but then there’s days where it feels so rewarding and like it comes so easy

Honestly, I just let my lash tech do her own thing 😂 she's very knowledgable at knowing what length is going to be safe for my natural lashes, so I have never really told her a specific style! I know she does mix a mix of the single & fan lashes (it's called a hybrid set at some salons!) Maybe tell her that you want to try a fuller look the next time you go in for a fill ☺️

My final exam is April 30th and still haven’t started looking over the final review questions. I thought it was a little funny because I have a sore throat right now. But, I nanny so when the kids get sick I get sick 🤒 what can a girl do ya know. I waited the week of my midterm to study, and didn’t do well. Not really! Now that I'm in my program, everything is specific to my field. However, I transferred from a university and I absolutely had to take pointless classes there hahaha
So I live in Texas and in the program that I am in you have to become an LMRT first before you can become an RT. Both programs are a year. In your state how long is your program?
Julia Kristine well the difference between a Limited Medical Radiologist Technician is that you can’t do CT’s or MRI. When you go back for the RT program then they teach you that.
That’s interesting! We only get to shadow the other modalities in this program, and if we want to get certified in CT/MRI, a person typically gets trained through their employer
Julia Kristine well here we have a community college where you can become an RT but you have to do your pre-requisites before applying to the program. The waiting list is 2yrs long. After you become an RT you can also get certified in MRI & CTs. It’s just easier for me to become an LMRT first and then go back and do the RT program.

I have never heard of that! We only have one program and it's two years long! AAS degree for RT(R)
