Thanks for the tips. Our family will be there early June this year! So excited! 👍.
Qin Shihuang was the greatest emperor in China, ❤It was his thoughts that led to the unification of China. He completed the unification of words, tracks and weighing.🎉His underground palace may never open.
No, è un tiranno, ha creato una società autocratica feudale, che è un incubo per il popolo cinese
Same reason why China should also reunite with Taiwan.
@@simonyu3121you mean Taiwan reunite with China
@@vister6757 doesn’t matter or care. Only power matters. If they could, Taiwan could have reunited with Chinese back in 1940s when Chiang Kai sheik is in power
the emperor of qin shihuang was the first emperor in the history of china started standardization on writing, measurement (weight and length) and nationwide transportation system (roads/so-called tracks and canal). in terms of writing, used to be one character might have a few minor differences, the standardization made nationwide publishing possible (on bamboo slips). those big effort also led to the downfall of qin dynasty; plans were too grand, too sophisticated, consumed huge amount of national resources.
My niece is Chinese. She looks very much like you!!!!! She is so cute like you! Weird! hahaha! Thanks for showing Terra cotta warriors! I will visit Xi'an one day! That is my promise to myself!
It’s amazing to be able to see what people were like and how they dressed thousands of years ago.
it is drama and that is fake!not real or same
they dressed 1500 years ago!
@@huiyuchina8594 I was commenting on the terra-cotta warriors, not the drama they saw.
Love these holiday hot spots; it may be little overcrowded for you guys, but lovely for armchair tourists like me. The live show was spectacular, very special. Thanks for posting.
Sign of being localized, holding umbrella in bright sunny day.
sign2, chopsticks hit each other before using
Lauran's movement with disposable chopsticks at 4:33 is very professional and looks like a local.
Thank you 🥰 i feel so professional now
Lauren used an umbrella 😂
Very wise.
Thanks for showing us the whole journey. Keep up the good work!
So fun to see you played with the two chopsticks before eating the biangbiang noodles, only few Chinese elders likes to play that way now, interesting 😂
History book says his tomb was built by 700,000 men. The main tomb to the west still remain intact. Another pretty well preserved Emperors' tomb are the Ming dynasty 13 - tomb at Beijing, should check it out.
I have also been in jinmao hotel last month.😀
Hi Lauran,it appears to me that you very much look like a famous Chinese American actress, Celina Jade. You may give it a check and see if that’s it.
Anyway, Welcome to Xi’an. Looking forward to more of your videos in the future!
The show 梦回大唐at the Tang Paradise in Xi’an 大唐芙蓉园 is truly impressive too
the show is so amazing
Nice
我一个中国人,很遗憾还没去过西安。
将来去那里旅游时我一定要挑淡季,仔仔细细的看。还要去我最敬仰的英雄墓:卫青和霍去病。
That emperor is definitely one of the most remarkable people in history
His empire collapsed shortly after his death, but he virtually defined China's writing, currency, and transportation systems for thousands of years afterward
Thanks for your video. How much did you pay from your hotel to the terracotta warriors using Didi? was it easy to catch a Didi to return to your hotel?
欢迎来到中国,祝您旅途愉快。
My hometown, welcome to here you couple 🎉🎉❤
P.S. Was there any way to be able to keep that little drum ( we would just walk out with it :)). So did they have a little bell too? It would be super cool to be able to keep both of them as souvenirs.....
Hi Lauran, im going for holiday this november to xian with wife, this is our 1st time to china. if you could give us some tips regarding traveling around xian and place of interest?
哈哈哈,你也开始入乡随俗晴天用遮阳伞啦

Great video! Can I purchase the tickets for the terracotta warriors online or ahead of time if I am foreigner? If so how?
Yes, I recommend purchasing ahead of time! I used their wechat mini program. Alternatively, I'm sure there are english tour websites such as GetYourGuide which I've used in Beijing before.
Thanks for the helpful response!@@LaLaLaLauran
how can a foreigner tourist buy the terracotta ticket if he don't have a China register handphone number?
天空很蓝,你也很美❤
Going there soon, may I asks how much the drive was roughly?
My Didi from downtown to the terracotta Warriors was about 90 cny. We also took the metro which is an option!
@@LaLaLaLauran thanks for the quick reply ☺️
Is the show happen every night? I’m going there end of the month so I’m curious..
Yes, I think its every night! I purchased tickets before on trip .com I think it often sells out. Have a good trip!
@@LaLaLaLauran thank you 😊
Is it hot in Xi'an? looking for a place in China where it is not hot.
welcome to Nanjing China
38°C
The whole country is Very hot in the summer, which is now and all the way to September, and northern China will then cool down.
Tibet
Kunming is supposed be spring- like all year long.
兵马俑一年四季人都很多。
Use Xi’an is better in title/headline. 😂 xian can be any Chinese character in pinyin 😅
It is Xi'an NOT Xian....

Haha, Lauran you are totally Chinesetized ( a made-up word) aren't ya? You even got the umbrella thing going! So a little color is a No No in East Asian cultures, right?
I like the umbrella because it keeps me cool on hot days
@@LaLaLaLauran Awesome! It’s also quite feminine and classy….. wish the ladies will do the same here in America …..
"A little colour" is DNA damage that might lead to skin cancer and should be a big no-no everywhere, if you're tanned that's a sign of DNA damage and the body trying to protect itself from further DNA damage.
@@jzvr5842 Thank you for the reply..., I am currently attending the Collage of P & S (collage of physicians & surgeons) at Columbia University ( Med school at Columbia University) following the track of surgical oncology, so I am fully aware the extend of the skin damage could occur due to the excessive UV exposure...... Once again thank you for the well intentioned advice.
There is simply too much Chinese history and culture to experience in just a few years😂😂
I heard that there is a fake Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi'an. I'm glad you found the real one.😂😂😂
Not only fake one, dozens.
