My dad is no longer here. He passed when he was only 50. But this song brought back a conversation I had with him when he was telling me about his childhood. His mom actually passed away while she was carrying him on his back. Supposedly from what I heard, Grandma was so heartbroken by witnessing Grandpa's affair. She ran to the farm house with my dad on her back. And she passed there.
Must have been a while till he's older, but grandpa remarried. There's now a step mom and step sisters. One day, his step sister and dad fought. Grandpa and step grandma gathered his clothes and kicked him out. He gathered his clothes and didn't know where to go. So, he walked to his mom's grave. He got there, knealt down, put his head on her grave and cried for her. He felt someone's hand "phlwv" his head. He looked up and didn't see anyone but he knew it was his mom's way of comforting him.
