The CRT screen off animation is part of vanilla Android. Google used that animation since Android 2.3 all the way to 4.1 Jelly Bean. LG kept it for their LG UX for a little longer
Pretty cool to see these prototype phones, are they more durable then their successors? Kinda makes me wonder what the prototypes for the Big names are like. Apple, Samsung, etc
There's a channel called Apple Demo that demonstrates various engineering samples of iPhones and iPods! He was my inspiration to go out searching for the devices in my video
my first android phone was a LG ( optimus me) I do miss the old days when each brand tried to be as original as possible! today all phones look more or less the same.
@@PocketPixelYT I agree. Although, to be fair, as a heavy custom ROM user at that time, I never felt like I was missing any features back then (and I always ran lightweight roms, as close to AOSP as possible). Then I was gifted a decent Xperia phone and never looked back. It sure had less features but it sure was faster, clearer and just better looking than stock. Nowadays I just use a mid range galaxy phone (M53), as I became a boring adult and the phone became not much more than a WhatsApp and banking app machine.
@ Today I see that a lot of software has move towards minimalistic icons, ui and etc. They look cleaner and nice but I think we missed a lot of creativity when it comes to UI / UX

A no tak! Masz spostrzegawcze oko. Pamiętam jak Mobzilla było kanałem sieci Play dawno temu

To be fair, it was also terrible as most brands had terrible UI. LG and Samsung most of all.
Yeah stock Android definitely looked the best at the time, though it was lacking many features of TouchWiz and Optimus UX

@ I disagree, I think we had bad performance not UI's, specially in low end phones.
