Yeah, it is a really nice looking board. Kind of reminds me a little of the NZXT ones that came out a little bit ago with the nice looking shroud on it.
finally a good looking motherboard that doesnt cost $600. the ones people are actualy going to buy have the following: a two tone pcb (black with either white or gray with a horrendous pattern), a shiny AND matte black vrm cover with brushed steel and a color stripe (usually red or orange), and a chipset cover thats either, white, brushed steel, or carbon fiber. this Razer motherboard is just black plastic and black metal. simple
Is there a extra film on your "Razer Edition Screen"? Because my got some scratches. It Looks Like IT has one, u see it on the edges... Idk If im trying it to pull it Off.. anyone knows what i mean
I can see that RAZER is trying to fit in the game here. As I am new to the taste of seeing a RAZER implemented motherboard, this had given me a few ideas on it. And as always, a clean and segmented review and yet disappointment isn't imminent in your game!
There was no way to configure it until this video came out. No software support until the last minute. As I mentioned this video was filmed 2 weeks ago
It looks nice i was looking at the x570 version but for 100 dollars extra is there any chances besides it being razer and rgb. Is there any performance changes for the extra money. I've honestly never liked asrock until they released they're full waterxooled board but even than the aorus board it nicer
This is the same board just with rgb and razer chroma integration, if you are in the razer ecosystem i would consider it worth it, if you aren't, then no, get the other board.
Looks pretty good but why you didn't switch on mother board show for us rgb how work chroma...and next motherboard review show please 570 razer taichi..
Although it may be hidden by current gen massive GPUs, the chipset cover would have been a lot better as a screen instead of an ugly Chroma logo. I think it would be mostly visible too with a GPU with a waterblock on it.
C'mon Nick We know you Love Gigabyte. But that Asrock is a Pretty Board!!! I love the positioning of the USB 3.0 Headers, Asus should take notes!!! With the 011D standard case it is almost impossible to connect the front panel USB 3 Cable positioned at the bottom of the board when 3 fans installed at the bottom for intake without an extra $25 Cable Mod investment and even that isn't perfect. a bit more torque on the header than I would like.
The board itself looks clean but just take off all that ugly razer branding or atleast make it blend into the board alittle bit better like just put a basic razer logo
Worst collaboration Razer best rgb out there Great customization Asrock motherboard Worst rgb out of all motherboards Rgb Software never really works Ask anyone with a asrock motherboard n they will tell if u, Also look at the forums. if u r building a rgb rig ,Avoid asrock motherboards. If u not into rgb than get Asrock They do make great performance motherboards
cheers. it would have been nice if this video went into a little more detail about the razer lighting, what it is and how it compares given that it's the only difference between the boards apart from boring color scheme and ugly razer branding. I have an asrock board but i don't use the software for the RGB. I just leave it at factory default and let it wave thru all the colors non-stop. probably why i've had no problems with it. at least you've informed us that it's not very good and razer is good in this respect. i'm sure razer expects the user to create a shitty razer account and the software will collect too much data and be resource-hungry. not a fan of their overpriced stuff that always require mandatory proprietary this and that but it's kinda cool to see Asrock venturing out on such collaborations and i'm sure the board resolves what you seem to imply is Asrock's Achilles's heel.
I agree asrocks boards and how they perform are really good it’s just their damn rgb is so bad even the white color doesn’t even look white it looks grey
@@azathothwakesup hold up, wait a minute. this is getting confusing now. the OP said that ASROCK BOARDS ARE GOOD, so what are you totally agreeing with? @Hugo, you edited your response to say its a BAD COLLABORATION NOW? If Asrock "make great performance motherboards" with "the worsst RGB" and Razer does "the best RGB out there" then this is a PERFECT COLLAB, going by that thing called logic. I just don't like how (iirc from experience) Razer usually requires you to create an account with them and install resource hungry software. I think I'm talking about Cortex. @Gear Seekers, cheers. Unfortunately i'm still finding myself googling what it is/what's unique about it and failing to comprehend. just assuming it's 'advanced' in what it does. The video ruclips.net/video/pWNzvoFpBOY/видео.html on the Razer site www.razer.com/chroma-workshop only serves to confuse people further with randomness that shows no RGB at all. Or is the software you refer to, 'Synapse Beta'? Not that I really care about RGB that much. Just saying that if there is only one diff between this and the orig mobo, and it's some RGB software from Razer, perhaps even just one or two points of difference between Asrock's and Razer's RGB software would've been nice. Still, it seems that Asrock has identified or been informed about a real or perceived weakness on their boards and have been proactive about adopting a third party solution from a company that usually makes expensive/high quality gear. This is a great idea, especially because it appears that Asrock tends to 'cheap out' on their boards (other than on the Tai Chi ones), albeit to provide better value to their customers. I"m sure that some people will love the understated, low profile 'all black' look of this board, EVGA style and those are not always the same people that love the RGB, which highlights this board's versatility. Gotta say tho that the traditional Tai Chi boards have probably been the best, visually, of all mobos, with the cogs and yin yangs.
just wanna say: the way you shot the connections in this video really should be made standard in all reviews :)
Honestly, without RGB it looks really, really clean.
