Hey you i have a trick you can use on LG´s washing machines. When the machine is off you push 2 centain buttons at the same time (i think they are the first and the middle one, their function doesnt matter) then press the power button while holding them and all the lights of the washer should turn on and the door would lock automatically. You entered Test/Diagnostic Mode. You go through the different steps with the Start/Stop button. The steps depend on the washer or washer/dryer combo, but the first ones are the same. you look for Step 2 and Step 3 which are the Low RMP spin and High RPM spin. I dont think i need to tell how many times you have to press the Start/Stop button because is too intuitive. and when you finish you simply press the power button to turn it off. PS. The customer´s service can charge you up to $100 for going to your home and just doing that if your washer passes the test, so this right here is a moneysaver. sorry if my english isnt good enough xd.

Well LG is more expensive, the alternative is Samsung but I highly recommend Samsung because some of their washing machines have AddWash and it was designed that when you need the clothes but someone is using it, you stop the cycle, and open the addwash door then you enter it in. Then you close the door and you continue the cycle
