Peace In The Valley

Written in 1939 by Thomas A. Dorsey its been recorded by several artists. The most Famous is Elvis but Red Foley, Mahalia Jackson, same Cooke, Jo Stafford, Connie Francis Johnny Cash, Little Richard and Patsy Cline to name just a few. Thomas Andrew Dorsey was a christian evangelist who was involved in the Blues and gospel music. He was alleged to have written something like 3,000 songs in his life time. He penned "Take My Hand Precious Lord" which I and many others have recorded. He arranged many songs and scores during his life time. Very prolific. This is my version.
