is the 5g & 6g wifi antennas combined (dual band)? and single band for the 2.4g. I will be upgrading antennas to outdoor since the r4 will be in an enclosure. replacing Cudy p5. I will also be using RM551 modem. Great video btw liked and subscribed.
Thanks looking great. Did it as well, however since I am a newbie, I am very interested in the initial setup, which cables to connect (like the cp2102 usb ttl adpater), power cable, flashing the sd card, etc. Somehow I cannot get it working, so looking forward to part 2 (soon I hope)
So, I am not going crazy. I have done the whole setup. Ground (Black), TXD -> RDX (Green), and RDX --> TDX (White), with a baud rate 115200, and nothing. I got two other USB UART devices. I got a funny feeling that the one from Youyeetwo is going to work. I want a working UART so I can flash the eMMC. I've been luck that OpenWRT and Immortalwrt base image just work, but no wireless. I think that because BE-Pi14 is so new. I am using a dev version of OpenWRT that shows all the channel are up, but no encryption. This truly is a dev board at this point. Fun to learn how to get things working. I will try to get part 2 out this week.
I bought my BPi-BE14 back at the end of July. I had no clue about the BE-19, something to play with later. With the R4, it simple pull out one board, replace it with another one.
There is not a lot of content on this product would like to see the WiFi being 3x3 and overall bandwidth limits of these they look very interesting debating whether to pick one up on Amazon. I wonder if OpenWRT can also be setup with this to use 5G modem as a backup WAN alongside a cable modem.
Your t-shirt made me laugh :)) Is the router stable for you so far ? I have a n100 4x2.5gb router, and also a filogic 830 based router, both doing good, but this device is tempting me :)
17:23 You shouldn't have pulled the tray out with that much force. It could have caught on a PIN and damaged it.
very cool , thank you for you support banana pi
Thanks Lion, you and Banana-Pi for letting me test and help. It's been a year for me, and I hope there are more.
Great video, subscribed
Awesome, thank you!
The audio is very quiet. I used the transcript so I could follow along. Very interesting video.

I am not sure, it looks to be diff, but I can't get the 6 Ghz to come up, look at the photo I posted.

@@terrorpup I fixed it, I forgot to crosslink the tx / rx connectors and then it ran through with the SD card installation
Wifi 7 module BPI-R4-NIC-iPA-BE19 is it released on markets (Not the one you have)

BE14 is only barely out. They said on their Discourse that BE19 is still planned but not expected to be available in 2024.

would you please reveal some wifi7 bandwidth tests ?
Audio is fine

No. OpenWRT doesn't have encryption for wireless. But it's early days.
I've been doing Nagios almost 20+ years. I got that shirt almost nine years ago at SCaLE. Most of my T-Shirt OS Projects.
Audio is too quiet. Maybe wear a microphone so voice is steady and louder.
Yeah, come to find out my PC mic level was super low. :(
Sorry guys, TerrorMine is my other channel were I am working to move all my Minecraft videos too.
All nice, but you haven't yet shown a 5G card for a mobile connection that would act as a backup internet connection.
Ameridroid has a 4G card that I've talking with them about. They are kinda hard to find in the states, but I need to budget for it.
