Praying for all who have been affected by these floods. xx
I am in Australia but l send prayers and blessings to all that are going through this terrible time,🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I live in Southern Oregon & weve been dealing with so many wildfires! Its been awful! & theres covid running wild its just a hard time for so many! Praying for so many! I have a friend very close & shes a momma of a 3 year old & the momma has been sent to portland oregon & is now on an ecmo machine please pray for her because shes go a 60% chance of survival. Shes 33 with 2 kids & hubs. Her name is kat! Please pray for healing of covid pneumonia w/ minimal damage to her brain & organs. Thank you your all in my prayers!🧡🌺🙏🏼🦋🧡
In our old house, we knew we were in a flood zone but couldn't afford flood insurance because we were in a flood zone. We had things on pallets in the basement. We got flooded once - the kids were swimming in the driveway. We had an upright freezer in the basement that still worked afterward, thank goodness. We lost a few material things in the basement but we were fortunate.
I just recently lost both my parents 5 days apart due to covid. There is no words to explain how hard it has been and how much I miss them. 💔
Thank u for your videos, they are extremely encouraging!!
Hugs and prayers to all!!
Flood insurance is a must when you live in a flood prone area, by a river or by a creek. My town is a flood zone (it's a river town) and its required for a mortgage to have flood insurance. Sending everyone lots of love and prayers.
As a Resident of Waverly, TN which was hit REALLY hard by this storm, THANK YOU.
How are you and your inner circle doing? Praying for all of you 💕
Oh my goodness Amanda! Do you know specific needs? Our friend Lauren is doing a lot of footwork but also want to find other needs
I live in East Tennessee. Prayers and Love to all. So very thankful you all are safe.
I'm in New Zealand and had no idea about what happened there so just googled it, instant regret! first story was about the wee 7 month old twins. That's so heartbreaking oh my god. Pleased you guys were safe and are able to reach out and help others.
Our daughter's sister-in-law lives in Waverly. She and her toddler son were rescued from their 2nd story apartment BY BOAT. They've lost everything, but thank God they were saved. She's a young, single mom, and I'm sure would appreciate some prayers. My heart is broken for all those who lost their lives and/or loved ones.
So sorry that you are going through such terrible time, praying for you and your family x
So glad they were rescued! But so sad that they had to go through that ☹️ I can’t even imagine… I hope they are doing well (all things considered of course). How has it been for ppl getting temporary housing and supplies? I don’t live in TN but wish I could help.
We live in Waverly and our home is fine but about a mile from our home it is complete devastation! My heart breaks for my community and those that have lost everything and lost love ones😢.
I’m so sorry. Glad your home is okay.
You are so Generous for building a storm room for not just for your family but also for your neighbors too also I like to say I'm so sorry for those families who that have passed away from a year ago that must be so hard for them knowing that they're never going to see their love ones again
Bless you guys! Thank you for spreading the word. I am from Waverly and was not directly affected but my best friend like so many others have lost everything. We lost 2 of our schools and much more. It's been the hardest thing to watch everyone go through. So thank u for spreading the word💙
I am from Germany, so the pictures of the floods are all too present in my mind. Absolutely horrifying. Happy to see you well. Much love to you and all your neighbors.
My heart aches for the losses.
Put a wood four leg table in your storm shelter. Parts can still fall and you can get under that table. Plus with a few sheets it’s a tent. We keep our patio cushions in our storm shelter. We have blankets in plastic bags so we can pop out what we need and when we need them. Paint inside your “basement” with dry lock. Use water base or move out for a week. Bike helmets for everyone is a must.
Water. Snacks that bigs can’t get to. And medical supplies, lots of bandage stuff, Saran Wrap, tampons, peroxide, alcohol, get some stitch kits at the farm store. My list goes on. Be safe.
Sending love to you, your family and neighbors / friends 💙💖💔😭
I can't help but smile when I see Cassidy. She has come a long way and she's such a beautiful and happy girl. Keeping growing strong baby. ❤
So glad you are all safe Sending prayers to all that have been affected xx ❤
So glad you are safe prayers to the others
I'm glad you are all ok, so so sorry for the ones who have lost loved ones thier homes and possessions. God bless you all , I will keep you in my prayers xx
I want to thank you for reaching out to me after I shared about my daughters passing. It truly made me cry. I felt cared about and seriously I felt that hug! ❤
The Big Plan keeps me going.
Be Safe. Be Happy. Be PRESENT!♡♡♡♡♡
May God hold you in his hands 🤍🕊️🤍
I’m sorry for your loss. Know you are not alone in child loss. We are here for each other.
@@janetescalona6517 Thankz Love!❤
I’m so sorry about your daughter. I don’t know your situation, but that doesn’t matter. It’s a loss. I’ll be praying for you.💖
It’s wonderful to see communities pull together. Our town lost a Pastor last week in a tragic car wreck. To see the town pray for his wife and young sons was beautiful. We have a local fireman that won’t live if he doesn’t receive a lung transplant. The town has rallied together to pray and support his family. We need that love and support of our fellow humans all the time! Together we are unstoppable! God hears our prayers!
I really hate that insurance doesn’t want to help unless you pay outrageous prices. I am sooo grateful you guys are safe. I didn’t hear from my granddaughter for 2 days you realize how truly life is important to us when you go trough something like this. Prayers help and until you finally here from your love one how grateful you are that you have god to pray to. But sooo many lost love ones and homes but coming together and sharing and loving each truly is so precious let’s keep giving if you don’t have money just volunteer to help clean up or give something that helps someone. Thank you for helping your family is truly blessed and the love you have for each other and everyone is beautiful and precious thank you and God bless you and your beautiful family
This hits close to home for me. It was actually 4 years ago TODAY that hurricane Harvey came and dumped 54 inches of water in the Houston TX area in less than 24 hrs. I lost everything. 4ft of water in my house. Luckily me, my husband, my kids and our animals all got out safe. But it is definitely a traumatic experience. Watching community come together to help was amazing. But like you said, insurance paid for nothing. We had to start over from scratch. I hope everyone in TN get all the help they need. Events like this really bring out the good in people.
Glad you are all ok..
Prayers for all💕🙏🙌
Sending all the Love to everyone in your area!
Here in my region in Germany we just had a flash flood, so I can imagian what it feels like. As you guys now, my family was thankfully not affected badly but so many poeple have lost everything.
Shows you how powerful nature can be and how small we as humans are in the face of such power.
Sending hugs, love and prayers!
Our entire downstairs flooded in hurricane Florence and we had a tornado hit our house. I have never been the same since. Prayers for all of you in Tennessee
We just had very bad weather the other day. Very unusual for this area. People lost their lives along with everything they own. I feel very blessed that we had no damage. God bless you and your efforts to help people!
May your friends find comfort in your friendship, and our prayers.
Glad you are all safe. Praying for everyone effected.
I heard and seen about the floods over there in Tennessee I hope everyone is all right and I’m glad y’all didn’t get hit with it thankfully but it also is sad to here that your family/friends and other people got hit by the flood I’m praying for everyone who got hit by the flood and also I will pray for y’all too
We were actually trying to get back home to Paris Tennessee from Nashville....We always take Hwy 70 because we don't like the interstate...We were turned around in McEwin because of the road closure going to Waverly....As we were driving back through a low area, I noticed the water in the ditch just disappearing into the ground like a sink hole only to see massive water spewing out on the other side of the road. We were lucky that the road didn't collapse on us. We tried several routs to get back home only to be met with a washed out bridge or road...We FINALLY made it home....We were some of the lucky ones....Keeping prayers going for Waverly and the surrounding areas..May God give them Strength, Comfort and Courage to help them get through what has been put before them..
Oh man, that's so scary! Glad you made it home safe and sound.
I lived in TN during the 2010 floods and there was so much damage and so many people out of homes. The one thing i remember is how the community but the state overall came together to get TN healing. I pray for the families who have lost loved ones and everything in there homes. I know how much we struggled during that time but the numerous amount of help kept us going.
Blessings and prayers coming to you and your family at this time as well as for your community. God bless.
I have family and friends all over the state of Tennessee and have been following the info about the floods. I know people who live near there so I've been calling and checking on them. I attended the Tennessee School for the Blind from 3rd to 12th grade and we had students from all over the state. I LOVED Kindle has sweet little face saying bye at the end. I love you all so much! LOVE and PRAYERS ALWAYS from Gainesville Florida.❤🙏😊🙏❤
I live in Humphreys County and the devastation in Waverly is unbelievable. Thankfully my home was not affected but I can’t say the same thing for the school I teach at. We have had so many wonderful and generous people show our county more love and compassion than I could ever imagine. Please pray that our small town can recover from this and continue to be the close knit community we are.
I live in Haywood County, NC and both the towns of Canton and Clyde had devastating flooding. Houses floating away, dozens of campers floating away and destroyed, cars, etc. Some lost their lives, one woman on the news was staying in a camper in a camp ground and the water came up so fast her husband was swept away in the water as she watched helpless… they found him several days later. It’s been so hard. BUT. GOD. Yall. It’s been so beautiful to see neighbors and community members band together and be there for each other. We’ve had water rescue teams from states all around. Just watching everyone work together to get through this. Helping their fellow man. It will sound strange, but after COVID, and a now a natural disaster, this is THE MOST normal I’ve felt in so long. The humanity I’ve seen. The love, grace and sacrifice I’ve seen. It’s been so good for my soul. Love you guys, praying for all those affected in your area.
Praying for you all and family and friends in that area. God be with you all
I’m so glad you guys are safe! I understand the stress after a natural disaster. I was a few weeks from having my second kid with a 1 year old living on the fifth floor apartment when we had a 7.1 earthquake almost 3 years ago now! Please stay safe!
Thank you. Let your love multiply.💖
My church lifted all of you in prayer and began taking donations to send to the people of Waverly. Blessings to all of you! 🙏❤️
I’m glad you guys are safe. My heart broke when I heard about the losses from the flood. Tornadoes are scary at times (the only time I feel safe is when I’m already in a safe place and I’m not alone). Growing up in Texas we are used to tornado warnings. We had a room in the middle of the house that was originally built for the man of the house to sleep in during the day because he worked nights and that became our tornado safe stop. One thing that would be good is a thick door to the storm shelter whether wood or metal. That gives extra protection. I try to keep some bottled water in storm shelter (a small closet) as well as a flashlight and something to do like books to read. I pray for comfort for those who have lost homes and family members. I also pray that there will be A reprieve between storms so that everyone can recuperate and be able to be prepared for the next one
Sending our prayers to all. Community is key in times like this .. have not dealt much with floods here in California but wild fires oh yes !!! My heart breaks for those who have lost so much . 🤍🕊🙏
All I could think about was you guys when I saw all the terrible news in TN. So thankful you are all okay
When I saw the tornado warnings in the news I immediately thought of you guys. So glad u guys are OK.
Prayers to all effected by that storm.
From Sevierville, TN. Our church is taking up an additional collection for those who lost so much. Now, looking at the hurricane Ida coming our way. God Bless!
Alex I am a grandma that lives in Australia and so many people that live in the USA to me are HEROS they keep getting knocked down and still get up and pull together to help each other and the thing that makes me SOOOO SAD and on the other hand SO PROUD is the people with the LEAST TO GIVE, GIVE THE MOST and do it with a smile on their face and LOVE in their hearts and to me it makes people like that the real HEROS. THEY ARE TRULY GODS CHILDREN AND HOW PROUD MUST OUR LORD BE OF THEM. So to all the real HEROS through these times GOD LOVES YOU AND ALL OF US BUT JUST MAYBYE THE ONES WITH MORE TO GIVE, GIVE. We can only PRAY. I take my hat off to all these people.🙏🏿🙏🏾🙏🏽🙏🏼🙏🏻🙏 It feels so much better to give than to take and it makes us happier people.
I was thinking of you as I was seeing and hearing the horrendous stories about that sudden flooding. So I am thankful that you were generally okay, even though I know you are feeling heartache for those around you who suffered such great loss. Houses and belongings can be replaced but lives being lost, especially children being torn right out of a parent's arms, that's heart wrenching, I can't imagine such agony. Our prayers are for each one that suffered loss.
Prayer for everyone there, God Bless.
We had something similar happen in central Iowa in 2018. So glad you guys are okay, and your compassion those in need is something we should all practice.
As I reached out to you in an earlier video, I am so thankful that your family is safe. But my heart has been so heavy for those that lost their lives and loved ones, and for those that have lost everything. My prayers have been constant for everyone. Love, hugs and prayers from a Kansas Grandma ❤️ 👵 🙏
Grateful you guys are safe. I was worried for sure XOXO
We are sending prayers your way … it happens in a blink of a eye the count today is 20 people died … hopefully FEMA come in to help
My cousin lives in Franklin and our whole family has sent money and supplies to her because she knows where it all needs to go. All she can say is how blessed she feels, but also how guilty she feels for being away from flooding. There’s no making her feel better about that. She says it missed them by 84 miles. Over and over. I obviously pray for all affected by this catastrophe, but I also pray for her. She just feels somehow like she deserved to feel the effects of everything. We can’t stop that. But, we’ve, my whole family, has sent our donations and supplies to her. I’m in Louisiana and have been through those things. It’s such a helpless feeling. My heats and prayers go out to ALL of you!!!
Survival guilt, I’ve been there before… “why them and not me.” Praying for all those effected, including your cousin, it’s heartbreaking. May God give strength to those who lost loved ones, homes and everything in between and may He release your cousins burden of survivals guilt and replace it with great love and encouragement for those who are struggling. 💕
I also wonder if she knows of the best places to donate for those who are not local? I know someone else on here asked too. I am going to look into Phil and Alex’s friend but thought I would ask as well (in case I can’t find this post later)
@@amberm919 thank you so much for your prayers and kind words. I’ll try to find out from my cousin or my mother where she’s sending things. I know at least some she is taking to her church, but I have to find out the name and location. I’ll find that out as quickly as possible and post it under this, directed towards you. Once again, thank you so much. ❤️
Praise Jesus you guys are safe I was getting calls from all of my family we are in millington tn (near Memphis) where it flooded due to the levee break in 2010 (the great flood of Millington) I believe there is a crew coming from here very very soon and we are all gathering things here on base too. Prayers for all of the families.
Glad you’re all ok and safe 💖💙
So glad you and the family are OK. Sending whatever good energy we can your way.
You can NEVER be too prepared. Never!
Wow. Have seen pics of Waverly. God Bless the families effected. Being prepared is a good idea. Take care.
I know how it is to live through a tornado. Me and my family were in the 2011 tornados in Tennessee. We still have PTSD from it. There was nothing left of are home. I pray for those that went through this 🙏
This world is just so hard sometimes and I love that you keep it so positive you guys are never negative or complain and I absolutely love that about you. Since I started watching you I haven't been able to stop because I love your message behind your videos.
Blessings for all!
It's so sad all the damage your community suffered. Right before your flood, small town Canton,NC flooded as well. I watched log cabins be washed off their foundations and washed down the river. Our small town is pitching together and high school rivals are coming together to build the community here
Sending love to y'all. I live in Kenya.(Africa) We hardly get any extreme weather here. It's a reminder to not take what we have for granted. I love your family and how real y'all are. Blessings!!
My heart and prayers are going out to those who lost love ones and their homes. Thank you for sharing this with us and helping your neighbors, Phil & Alex. I'm glad that you and your family are ok.
I've been so worried about you guys, my heart goes out to all of Tennessee. I shared this video on Facebook and hope people will be able to help. God bless 🙌🙏🏼❤
Glad you guys are okay 🤍 thank you for being kind, giving people to your community.
I am so glad to see you all. I was concerned for you all not knowing exactly where you all are at. I tried not to worry but pray for all of you in Tennessee. Don't have money to help but I can pray. God love you 🥰
Sending Positive vibes a so many prays to you an any family's effected by that awful storms. God bless you all.
My heart breaks hearing the stories. I live in a flood zone and received my notice that my premium went up a bit. I initially felt frustration… I’m in a flood zone where it’s never flooded, but it’s required. Today’s video was a little dose of perspective. I may be struggling with some heavy medical bills at the moment, but I have so much at the same time to be thankful for.
I have so much enjoyed this calm normal natural video I often feel overwhelmed by all the “excitement frenetic” videos in the past to the point where I hesitate to watch. There are some day where it is too painfull and noisy to watch. Thank you for this video
Hey precious family, I'm praying for all! Yall are so kind to help others! So glad your all safe, love ya,God bless!
Not sure if you will see this today 8/30, but praying and hoping you all will be okay with Ida barreling towards Tennessee. Be safe, and I will be thinking of you all. 🥺❤🙏
Sending you all lots of love.
We got prepared a few years ago. It’s come in handy a number of times when resources in shops run low (lockdown here again in NZ) but alway when power goes out and we have to warm bottles etc!!
Floods are so scary! I have never experienced in person! My heart broke kids and adults losing their life! I love the battery operated Coleman lanterns! Need a door to storm shelter room because tornado can suck people out!
I can't imagine going true this tragedy. Where I live is up a hill and I see different parts of the country flooding. Some areas are worse than others. I thank god that everyone is safe and I pray that whatever comes in life will never let you down.
"I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me" Philippians 4:13
I have been so worried about you all. Praise to God you are safe. Prayers for your friends.
Thinking of you all and your community, my heart goes out to you all. So scary 💞
We live in Knoxville. I actually met you when you came to our mall before Covid hit. It’s just devastating to see everything that is happening right now. From floods to Afghanistan. It just breaks my heart, but also I’m grateful for my family. My husband unfortunately has Covid right now, but I’d rather deal with that than a flood. I wish we could help. 💖
I am in Kansas, I know the feeling! I am glad you are getting prepared, that's awesome! The house is looking great!
You guys are so awesome, thank you for helping
Sending lots of love! ✨💕
Glad you guys are okay.
When I saw the flood coverage on the news my thoughts instantly were on you and your family. I didn't know how close you were. I will continue to pray for your family and for Waverly.
Hi guys. Glad you’re okay. Just so you know, you have air conditioning and they are dehumidifiers. Look it up. I work for an HVAC company.
Did Cassidy say "alexa" @21:41? I'm glad you are all safe! Thank you for helping your neighbours 🥰🌪🌬🌧⚡💧
Kinsley’s cute! “Go let your love multiply!!” 😄
Thankful your family is safe. I an a disaster case manager. One I f the first needs is going to be Rx and medical needs. God bless all.
I heard about this on the news , I'm glad u guys are ok , my heart goes out to everyone effected by what happened ❤❤❤
You guys are really so strong to keep getting up after hit after hit. I know you are ok, but it is still really stressful. Friends and neighbours suffering still causes a stressful situation and I'm sure it can cause survivor guilt. Stay strong and spread the love.
Alex you are so caring it's amazing!!!
Oh my goodness I couldn’t even imagine the fear in everyone’s hearts 🥺 it warms my heart knowing you are all okay 🙏🏼 god bless those that have lost it all and those who lost their loved ones🙏🏼
Sending prayers. Living in SE Texas we are preparing for hurricanes and you are correct in that if you don't live in a hurricane zone most do not purchase flood insurance. But you can pretty cheaply. We've never flooded in the 60 years this house has been here until Tropical Storm Imelda - 30 inches in 3 hours. Harvey was a 85% devastation for our town at 52 inches in 3 days with 2 damns being opened after the rain stopped flooding more homes. You can never be prepared enough. I'm sure there will be multiple organizations deploying to Tenn to help. God bless you all and our prayers will continue for all.
