That said - Sami has already said that James did not even flinch over his family’s last name and given that this is a soap I suspect Sami has it wrong or that there is more to the story (or it was not James but someone else...). Just look at how he behaved when he threw Kyle out the morning after their encounter. Kyle would have liked to see him again. James just wanted Kyle to prove to himself he hadn`t lost his ability to control people to do what he want. James doesn`t love or care for Harry - had he, he could have helped him in much better ways than pimping him - he just loves the fact he can control him. Not to mention, had James been half the lawyer Hollyoaks claims him to be, he would have had Harry free a long time ago. Cause the evidence being so poor as they are Ste could first be prosecuted, and after his trial Armstrong - the lead investigator - emerged as the main suspect, challenging the evidence obtained under Armstrong`s leadership, having them deemed inadmissible, would have made it impossible for the CPS to prosecute Harry. Armstrong, when he interviewed Ste, fed him information about the case the police normally keep to themselves to be able to separate false confessions from genuine ones. But in this case, Armstrong used them to make Ste, who didn`t remember anything of the night in question, appear to be telling the truth in the confession Armstrong bullied him into. All this would have been on the recording of the interview, including James` objections his client was in no fit state to answer questions. Off course James should have complained to the CPS long before the case went to trial, and Ste neither would have been held on remand, nor prosecuted - an unsafe confession being the only solid evidence against him. But James wanted Ste prosecuted as revenge for Ste sleeping with JP, and hoping he also could take over Harry. But even this late, since the question of what interest Armstrong could have had to frame Ste - unless he himself had killed Amy and needed a scapegoat - would arise. And since Ste`s blood planted on the trainers Harry had worn, hadn`t been submerged under water in the pond for 4 months, that stain would have stuck out like a sore thumb to have been planted, and Armstrong being the lead investigator on the case, the first name to pop up as a possible suspect. The defense attorney would have been at the very bottom of that list. Therefore, rather than no longer be a suspect for Amy`s death, Armstrong likely would have been prosecuted for both corruption of justice, tampering with evidence, gross misconduct etc, etc. Maybe even Amy`s death. Because all the evidence obtained under Armstrong`s leadership of the investigation would have been inadmissible, should he be charged with corruption of justice and tampering with evidence, and the fact Armstrong therefore appeared the most likely killer, it would have been impossible to charge anyone else with Amy`s death. Cause if Armstrong had falsified some evidence, what guarantee would their be the same wasn`t true about other evidence? The result would have been neither Harry, nor Ryan would ever have been prosecuted for having killed Amy. So even though it was James himself who planted Ste`s blood on the shoe, had he used the recording of Ste`s interview to prove misconduct by Armstrong, the latter likely both would have been charged with that and for having planted the blood, and as a result undermining the prosecution`s case so totally, all charges against Harry would have had to have been dropped, and he would have been free. How you can suggest Harry should be grateful to James, who has not done anything other than exploit and manipulate him, is beyond me. James is a psychopath whose only served his self interest by pretending to help Harry, to win Harry`s confidence - and he even admits to have taken advantage of him in this clip. How can you not see, and realize that?

Jacky J Kyle would be much better for Harry - and Harry for Kyle. Not only did the both of them chase the man they wanted (Harry chased Ste and Kyle Chased Ryan) with everything they got and their heart on their sleeves, so we know they both share the same monogamous ideal and passion to get the man they want. Kyle, just like Ste, is older than Harry and very comfortable at being gay, something Harry found very appealing - and admired - in Ste. Kyle`s MS makes Harry feel himself to be just as needed and useful as with Ste and his many issues, and Kyle also is charming, funny and easy on the eye. Kyle and Harry almost could have been written for each other, they are such an ideal match. At least compared to the other gay characters there is available in Hollyoaks. Apart from Kyle either Brody, Joel, Darren, Zack or Jesse would have to have been turned gay, to find a good match for either Kyle or Harry.

An ordinary lawyer would have gotten Harry out of jail a long time ago, simply by pointing to the pure logic and fact both Ste could be prosecuted for, Armstrong investigated as a main suspect of, and now Harry thought he had killed Amy - at the same time as neither of the autopsies of Amy could fix a reasonable accurate time of death, the evidence to hold Harry on remand simply isn`t there. All the evidence their is have been collected and logged a long time ago, Harry has made a statement (not the smartest thing he could have done) which despite not matching very well to the autopsy findings on Amy, stil couldn`t been tampered with to Harry`s advantage so far into the investigation. Harry has not got any previous criminal record, and the fact two other people, Ste and Armstrong have been strongly suspected of the same crime, would have the court very cautious about holding Harry on remand. All the time Ste could be prosecuted - and found not guilty - for having killed Amy earlier the same night, prosecuting Harry for the same could prove a hazard too daring, since it would open the possibility Amy could have been killed both by others and later. Had James focused more on how he should get Harry free, and less on how he could control Harry, Harry would have been out already. There simply isn`t a solid enough case to build against him! Which James would have realized, had he been even an averagely good lawyer. But being an absolutely crap one, he has yet to realize how to best precede.
I think Sami was working an angle that would involve Tony getting charged with a hate crime. The police already suspected the attacker might have done it because of the prostitution angle (meaning they suspect Tony since he's the only other person who knows). Tony getting arrested for a hate crime would be a far more serious offense than just a assault, which would hurt Harry, which would then hurt James. Sami just wants to destroy everything that could remotely make James happy. With Tony behind bars, Sami could have total say as Harry's solicitor, without need for Tony's consent in anything.
Tony is acting as if everything is great. He seems not to care if Harry spends 20 years in jail and if he really killed Amy.When is Harry going to get help to get out of jail? He's going to be angry with his mom for a long time. He's probably not going to get better without therapy. She literally had to chose which kid she wanted to die, and she chose him to die, so the other could be saved. There is not a child on the planet who would get over something like that without therapy. to literally see death coming for you, and watch as your mother looks at you, and say sorry, while she leaves you to die, so she can save her favorite child. Would you honestly get over it that easily, if your mom left you to get killed by an oncoming truck because your sibling was more important? If he hadn't managed to get unstuck and out of the car on his own, he'd be dead. That sort of thing just never stops haunting a child without therapy.

According to Sami, he believes his dad went to prison because James embezzled money and blamed it on Sami’s Dad- resulting in Sami’s Dad going to prison and shortly after killing himself out of shame or prison life. That said - Sami has already said that James did not even flinch over his family’s last name and given that this is a soap I suspect Sami has it wrong or that there is more to the story (or it was not James but someone else...). But that is why he hates him

marc frank James admitted in this clip he exploited Harry for his own amusement and to control Harry. In a rare state of great self insight, and even more rare, honesty, he admitted as much. Yet you still think pairing poor Harry up with him would be a good idea? And what is so great about taking revenge, apart from a sort of pissing contest? Sami`s actions are extreme - okay. But that doesn`t make James as white and innocent as new fallen snow.
this is a soap......and in this case...james...is the good guy...he "saved" harry from working the streets and being assaulted as he once was....remember harry even "charged" james....and even at the end harry recognized all that james had done for him

Just look at how he behaved when he threw Kyle out the morning after their encounter. Kyle would have liked to see him again. James just wanted Kyle to prove to himself he hadn`t lost his ability to control people to do what he want. James doesn`t love or care for Harry - had he, he could have helped him in much better ways than pimping him - he just loves the fact he can control him. Not to mention, had James been half the lawyer Hollyoaks claims him to be, he would have had Harry free a long time ago. Cause the evidence being so poor as they are Ste could first be prosecuted, and after his trial Armstrong - the lead investigator - emerged as the main suspect, challenging the evidence obtained under Armstrong`s leadership, having them deemed inadmissible, would have made it impossible for the CPS to prosecute Harry. Armstrong, when he interviewed Ste, fed him information about the case the police normally keep to themselves to be able to separate false confessions from genuine ones. But in this case, Armstrong used them to make Ste, who didn`t remember anything of the night in question, appear to be telling the truth in the confession Armstrong bullied him into. All this would have been on the recording of the interview, including James` objections his client was in no fit state to answer questions. Off course James should have complained to the CPS long before the case went to trial, and Ste neither would have been held on remand, nor prosecuted - an unsafe confession being the only solid evidence against him. But James wanted Ste prosecuted as revenge for Ste sleeping with JP, and hoping he also could take over Harry.
But even this late, since the question of what interest Armstrong could have had to frame Ste - unless he himself had killed Amy and needed a scapegoat - would arise. And since Ste`s blood planted on the trainers Harry had worn, hadn`t been submerged under water in the pond for 4 months, that stain would have stuck out like a sore thumb to have been planted, and Armstrong being the lead investigator on the case, the first name to pop up as a possible suspect. The defense attorney would have been at the very bottom of that list.
Therefore, rather than no longer be a suspect for Amy`s death, Armstrong likely would have been prosecuted for both corruption of justice, tampering with evidence, gross misconduct etc, etc. Maybe even Amy`s death.
Because all the evidence obtained under Armstrong`s leadership of the investigation would have been inadmissible, should he be charged with corruption of justice and tampering with evidence, and the fact Armstrong therefore appeared the most likely killer, it would have been impossible to charge anyone else with Amy`s death. Cause if Armstrong had falsified some evidence, what guarantee would their be the same wasn`t true about other evidence?
The result would have been neither Harry, nor Ryan would ever have been prosecuted for having killed Amy.
So even though it was James himself who planted Ste`s blood on the shoe, had he used the recording of Ste`s interview to prove misconduct by Armstrong, the latter likely both would have been charged with that and for having planted the blood, and as a result undermining the prosecution`s case so totally, all charges against Harry would have had to have been dropped, and he would have been free.
How you can suggest Harry should be grateful to James, who has not done anything other than exploit and manipulate him, is beyond me. James is a psychopath whose only served his self interest by pretending to help Harry, to win Harry`s confidence - and he even admits to have taken advantage of him in this clip. How can you not see, and realize that?

Look, if the two choices are for Harry to right now either end up back with Ste or with James - because that's how soap storylines work and that is what this is after all, a soap I enjoy for entertainment purposes - I'll take my chances with a James/Harry relationship any day. Jacky J Kyle would be much better for Harry - and Harry for Kyle. Not only did the both of them chase the man they wanted (Harry chased Ste and Kyle Chased Ryan) with everything they got and their heart on their sleeves, so we know they both share the same monogamous ideal and passion to get the man they want. Kyle, just like Ste, is older than Harry and very comfortable at being gay, something Harry found very appealing - and admired - in Ste. Kyle`s MS makes Harry feel himself to be just as needed and useful as with Ste and his many issues, and Kyle also is charming, funny and easy on the eye. Kyle and Harry almost could have been written for each other, they are such an ideal match. At least compared to the other gay characters there is available in Hollyoaks. Apart from Kyle either Brody, Joel, Darren, Zack or Jesse would have to have been turned gay, to find a good match for either Kyle or Harry.
I'm definitely in support for team James Harry. James has always wanted Harry. He's been manipulative, creepy, and a bit of a sociopath, but that aside, unlike Ste, James hasn't run, or abandoned Harry whenever things get tough. Both Ste, and Harry's own dad, turn their backs on him and run every time it gets hard. James would stand by Harry no matter what, good times and the bad. James is Harry's Ride or Die. Ste is Harry's Ride or Run.
There is been confirmed that set and harry are gonna end up together. But that’s gonna take some time because they first need to figure some stuff out. But me personally I always en will always be team ste and harry.

He manipulates people, not only lies - but lies to cause harm - he is dishonest and he is, for a lawyer, so fucking stupid I cant believe it. An ordinary lawyer would have gotten Harry out of jail a long time ago, simply by pointing to the pure logic and fact both Ste could be prosecuted for, Armstrong investigated as a main suspect of, and now Harry thought he had killed Amy - at the same time as neither of the autopsies of Amy could fix a reasonable accurate time of death, the evidence to hold Harry on remand simply isn`t there. All the evidence their is have been collected and logged a long time ago, Harry has made a statement (not the smartest thing he could have done) which despite not matching very well to the autopsy findings on Amy, stil couldn`t been tampered with to Harry`s advantage so far into the investigation. Harry has not got any previous criminal record, and the fact two other people, Ste and Armstrong have been strongly suspected of the same crime, would have the court very cautious about holding Harry on remand. All the time Ste could be prosecuted - and found not guilty - for having killed Amy earlier the same night, prosecuting Harry for the same could prove a hazard too daring, since it would open the possibility Amy could have been killed both by others and later.
Had James focused more on how he should get Harry free, and less on how he could control Harry, Harry would have been out already. There simply isn`t a solid enough case to build against him! Which James would have realized, had he been even an averagely good lawyer. But being an absolutely crap one, he has yet to realize how to best precede.

I think Sami was working an angle that would involve Tony getting charged with a hate crime. The police already suspected the attacker might have done it because of the prostitution angle (meaning they suspect Tony since he's the only other person who knows). Tony getting arrested for a hate crime would be a far more serious offense than just a assault, which would hurt Harry, which would then hurt James. Sami just wants to destroy everything that could remotely make James happy. With Tony behind bars, Sami could have total say as Harry's solicitor, without need for Tony's consent in anything.

He's going to be angry with his mom for a long time. He's probably not going to get better without therapy. She literally had to chose which kid she wanted to die, and she chose him to die, so the other could be saved. There is not a child on the planet who would get over something like that without therapy. to literally see death coming for you, and watch as your mother looks at you, and say sorry, while she leaves you to die, so she can save her favorite child. Would you honestly get over it that easily, if your mom left you to get killed by an oncoming truck because your sibling was more important? If he hadn't managed to get unstuck and out of the car on his own, he'd be dead. That sort of thing just never stops haunting a child without therapy.
