I love coming back to this video few times a year. I'm not even a big fan of the song itself. I just think this cover is the closest i can think of a "perfect cover". Composition wise, everything feels organic and at the same time precisely placed. As the listener, i feel the pleasure you had to play this. It's never overplaying or "underplaying", never too much, just follows the overall dynamic of the song all the way through while giving it a second life with this drum rendition. Very impressive. I won't go into further analysis bc it would be too long. But thank you for this cover !

It sounds like you're using a double bass drum pedal at 1:17, but I don't think you are. Hihats keep moving with your left foot... Double tap with your right foot and one hit of the floor tom I guess. Damn that sounds funky!
