why is this recorded like this? 80% of the video is shayne and you can't even see the other cast members. I don't understand why they didn't just keep it on the wide shot the whole time if they weren't going to bother to change the angle when people were talking so you could see them
as a camera man I know that sometimes you just don't get enough cameras to work with, in a studio there's like 5-6 cameras but on a stage like this only expect 2-3 if that, most the places I film for only have 1 camera and I have to bring an extra for good shots, so it makes it hard to get those really good angles. Sometimes you have a lot of cameras but they keep bugging out or disconnecting so you just cant use them, a lot more goes on behind the scenes than is realized unless you're watching the camera guy

Camera-work is atrocious, like yes I get wanting close-ups of the groups occasionally but not even half way in it stays on Shayne and we miss all of the reactions from the rest of the cast during important parts and while they're speaking. The zoom-out was the best and we barely got enough of it.
Edit: I thought the camera person was doing a weird job cuz they were only zooming in on one person, but after I kept watching for a bit it seems like there were more angles and either the fiotage got lost or they just didn't bother to edit it. Either way, it ruined the experience not to see people's expressions, reactions and everyone's opinion when they had to lift their signs. Idk if I'll even finish watching it

We were there, there was only one camera man recording the whole stage, it was hard to keep getting everyone on stage with people getting up and moving around in the audience

The way she grinds everything to a halt just to announce that she clearly hasn't been listening is so disrespectful & unprofessional! Ian even tried to move on & get things back on track. She does this fairly often, so that's probably why Ian said that. I'm not aware of Olivia having ADHD or anything of that nature (granted, it could be undiagnosed/untreated), which would at least make it understandable. But even then, there's no need to butt in, no apology, acting like it's anyone's fault but hers. It comes across like she's bored, tuning out & has to let everybody know how bored she is. Being the 'I don't get it' girlie is not funny or endearing, it's just annoying

I'm an Indian dude, live here and no it's being WAY too familiar with someone especially when the relationship is "male tattoo artist working on a woman". People can obviously text each other asking if they want to catch up for a bite even if they've barely talked but it's pretending that that sort of relationship *should* or could exist just because she got a tattoo done from him is highly inappropriate, not to mention unprofessional. There's many reasons to maintain contact with a tattoo artist but hooking up or going on dates is not what the job is about. He shot his shot with that one "good morning" and that's it. Pushing past that was clearly testing boundaries and it's not cool. Tattoo artists serve a largely urban clientele. They get all sorts of people coming through their doors. One in Goa would easily get international clients seeing as Goa is well known in India and abroad for having amazing beaches, free flowing booze and an almost year round party scene. That's much needed context to why there's no point to making excuses for this guy. He's in it for hooking up with his foreign clients. That's fine if its consensual but most people will be creeped out by that and it's highly unprofessional. You're trusting a stranger, this tattoo artist, with the hopes that their equipment is sterile, their hand is steady and your vulnerable body to put either some cool art or sentimental memories on it. The fact that the guy with the needle simply is doing all this to have sex with you is not pleasant. Unless he's hot, apparently.
It's so interesting, how the etiquet regarding paying on your birthday is dependent on the culture/ country you are from. In Slovenia paying on your birthday is highly expected and very polite unless the food or drinks are the birthday gift, arranged by friends or family you're celebrating with.

You know, after watching this, it really (not sarcasm) gives me an insight to how videography plus editing works. We've all noticed they have multiple camera angles, duh. And how do they capture the reactions so fast? Because they stay one person/direction! And if they have to pan it's only a tiny amount! Aside from my extreme enjoyment of being able to watch this when I can't be there, I now have more appreciation for their creative process. Can you even imagine how hard it must be to be in charge of a camera, and make sure you're focusing on the right couple of angles when Spencer's over there making sucking Johnson jokes?????? As as someone who has filmed shows, this camera operator needs talked to asap. This is so hard to watch. Im nauseous with the rapid shakey movement, and theres no proper attention on the subject speaking.
