whoever designed this BRILLIANT...a nice starting project for a mechanically minded kid... inexpensive parts available and no welding... really good video.
Very interesting way to push the button. I would probably have used a solenoid or tapped into the drill switch wires but your idea is fascinating. I don't like pull wires very much.
Brilliant concept, very clever thinking in every aspect of this build, 10/10, but! and this is not a criticism, it will be too underpowered offroad or uphill but for a youngster to use on the flat it is brilliant, just keep a spare battery charged up or incorporate a solar charge
i like the production, the ingenuity, the easy to follow guide, but I'm keeping my electric drill for drilling holes in wood lol. maybe you should upgrade it with an HVAC fan. I like your Hydraulic throttle switch!
Souuld have put a compression spring in the 'single' front fork/steering lead, and have had a double like ALL MOTORCYCLES. also if you clamp heavier wall 1/4"+ 2" angle down the horizontal bar you will stiffen it big time as well have forced in a rounded wood pole.
Already you impressed me with your "low-priced-easy-ta-get-AND-WORK-WITH" materials, but you knocked me right off my rocking-sofa when you demonstrated your "Home-made-Hydraulic-throttle" to "analogically" adjust gas & thrust using those 2 "100 - cc'" Syringe-Pumps you had along with that flexible half of an inch transparent hydraulic line, (thank god you made surfe it was transparent!), Fuck, I'm so amazed cause I'm like you for inventing and assembling the "un-assemble-able", but NEVER do I come AS EVEN A BIT CLOSE TO as clever as you got here in this crazy demonstration! I got so impressed that I didn't even take the time to see if there was any mention in any of the text about what the tube is as a material, and what you used as a hydraulic fluid... (Dot 3 or 4 brake fluid, Power-Steering, hydraulic-jack, automatic-transmission fluid...) Or you probably even used "Strawberry Nestle-Quick-Liquid!" and this wouldn't even surprise me after all this. Hopefully, as I sign off here and read all the texts, it'll be mentioned. If not, and if it's no effort to say so, Tell me what liquid and transparent-tubing you used as your hydraulic gas throttle fonction. Hey, seriously, I tip my hat to your impressive ingenuity! Congratulations, it's been a hell of a long time since I got really excited about shit like this, & I'm a "MONSTER GARAGE EX-ENTHUSIAST!" Crazy. Ps: So sorry for the excessive length of text. Piece.
Very cool. Very creative design - especially the syringe hydraulically actuated drill button. Did it have enough torque to keep it moving on flat grass?
where are your brakes for this thing? are you sure PVC pipes are strong enough? I am asking about the elbows and joints, and is this for adults or for kids?
Hey guys, i'm doing a short survey to find out what you guys want to see in the future. Please check out the survey so i can see your feedback as well as what projects you would like to see !!! Thanks! goo.gl/forms/8sAjWJ2aN2K5QALw1
You should deffo do a project where u strip all the drills down to the motor, battery and electrics remove the casings, and get about 7-8 drills with a proper soldered throttle cable & make a proper frame would be sick bro
I feel like there are atleast 20 better options for a motor controller than putting soft rubber tubing and a cheap plastic syringe 1/10th of an inch away from the main wheel.
whoever designed this BRILLIANT...a nice starting project for a mechanically minded kid... inexpensive parts available and no welding... really good video.
That has to be one of the most clever throttle " cables" ever!

Original thinker. Thumbs Up for you!
your real talent its the feed of your youtube chanel, congrats man
OMG! I have that same Black and Decker Workmate Work Bench for the last 38 years!
Please do a diy video on converting a knee scooter into a seated electric scooter. Please pretty please! I’ll bet you’ll go viral!
Josh is talented in many ways, including knowing how to pick good music soundtracks!
Perfect perfect perfect and easy to set up!👍🏾
Great idea! I think if you make the gear ration high (more torque required*) you can get more speed
The best i have ever seen .. and the best about it is simplesty
Thats pretty cool. White pvc is stronger than ABS pipe though. Make the back longer and put a briggs motor on it.
Did you forget to install the brakes.!!!! hahaha.....
Nice project. like for you.!!!!
I love this channel. Brazil 🇧🇷
I might weld me up an aluminum version of this with my powerimig. Amazing how much speed you are getting on that thing.
He's just going downhill. When he hits the bottom of the hill his speed slows to a crawl but nevertheless this is very inventive
Awesome very resourceful first principles thinking and implementing. Legend!!!!
Nice - Simple and Best solution
Rilly cool Josh !
Haha that braking system is hella sick!!😃

Very beautiful work. Very ingenious drive system! It may be worth patented. Congratulations

For running down the hill, you don't need to put the drill.
David
Its title is "...drill powered electric bike..."
@@humanmind7413 For running down to the _hell_ , you need to put the drill. =D [hokku]
Ahora a ver que tal en la subida...
No ya en serio bordeas la genialidad, lo simple y en especial el manejo de la hidraulica.
Finally some walk thru music that doesn't suck
Cool!!! So simple and good unbelievable. Some protection against the chain and a little changes it will be better))
have fun trying to change the back tire out when the inner tube pops.
Fkn genius! Keep it up dude
Really, REALLY nice, man! :D
The throttle system was a pretty catchy idea.
What a powerful Rechrgeble drill

You had me at the zip ties. Great job.

awesome video !! and creative idea !!!
very clever my friend
Wow! Super idea!!
Great job.
Ok, good idea bro. I like it.
The air cylinder throttle is the most innovative thing. surgical tubing and two big syringes
Which drill machine you used?
This is awesome, I wonder what the max weight is though as plastic pipes I'd assume need a low weight person
That is brilliant and simple good job.
Excellent , really cool holmes . Keep up the good work .
this is crazy dood lol
good thinkn...
nogginz!
Este invento esta chingon, te felicito camarada
super ,,super,, super,,,,,,,,exelente y divertido,, saludos
Wow, si que hay creatividad!!! Bastante genial tu invento
Oliver reyes
Next week he will build a tesla from newspapers and mosquitoes.
woow, genius. I love what I see, and learn from you. Thank you for sharing.
very very nice idea sir ji
I totally want to build something similar. You can have fun on two 18 volt batteries and have a 24 volt battery to get home.
Thats so awesome
Its very cool.
You must be genious
wow so interesting and creative
great and interesting job
Nice video bro....
Very cool. Very creative design - especially the syringe hydraulically actuated drill button. Did it have enough torque to keep it moving on flat grass?
prob no because they drive it down the hill
This is so cool
the hydraulic braking system is very ingenious.
Do you mean the hydraulic throttle? No brakes!
It's throttle man...he has natural multi braking system on his design..his toe or ankle may be...
What brakes?
yes philip and phineus but il add its not even hydraulic ( he uses no fluids) it pneumatic (air) in this case, just saying :)
Greats idea...like it
you are a genius!!!
where are your brakes for this thing? are you sure PVC pipes are strong enough? I am asking about the elbows and joints, and is this for adults or for kids?
In the video he is using ABS pipe, if it was actually PVC, like in the title, he would probably have ended up in hospital, or the morgue..
nice sharing
Incredible 😂
Cool scooter
The music is awesome!
Brilliant!
Congratulation! It's great!
Awesome!!!
The color combination is right but the drill hold is pink change on it milk white
semplicemente geniale !
Note the tubing change from 4:04 to 4:05. To much flex in the original tubing? I'll take a 3 wheel version please.
Genius! Would u consider to build something that flies a man?
if nothing else
It has a pretty cool silhouette
That is funny! Give you an "A" for effort though!!
I have try at home so easy
красавец!!!!!!! молодец!!!!!
Which drill machine is used. Name of the drill machine pls send the reply
Thats verry cool i needto make that
Very good sir :)
Good Idea !!
wonder if I somehow could build one of these and use my electric unicycle as engin? Like a kit for hovwerboards but for euc:s instead.
Been looking for that since day one with my airwheel q3.
a virgin josh shall stay forever
awesome at the same time it realy funny keep up the good job :)

JoshBuilds please show us how to make an rc plane out of rc car parts, or just a really simple rc plane
JoshBuilds gam.mari
6 years later: 😂
cool can you tech us how to make with out siting
Watch this! Hold my beer! Lol
Can you do it with bosch motor with transmission and 18650.
Nice!!!
What happens if you have to replace the tube or tire? Kind of tough to remove the wheel.
Also what about brakes?
No brakes. You have to run into something to stop it 😎
What kind of pipe did he use? Need answer please. Thanks in advance
It says "40mm coextruded abs cellular" , if you look. Not something I've ever seen here.
That was fine for down hill but what about uphill?
What was the maximum speed achieved on smooth road ?
I feel like there are atleast 20 better options for a motor controller than putting soft rubber tubing and a cheap plastic syringe 1/10th of an inch away from the main wheel.
Lol cool build. Just subbed to you Chan 💯
Does charge last more than 5 min.
Thx keep up brain power
