*_Beautiful_* is just too small a word to describe this collection. The delicate transitions from one song to the next make each performance stand out --- yet all are a part of a memorable experience for this listener. The final haunting notes of Lithuania's Vakarė Jarmalavičiūtė had me fumbling to find my cursor to replay the whole. Happy, happy 2023 to everyone!

I too was impressed with her singing that song. "Tai Gražiai Gieda Lakstingalėlė" translates to "The nightingale sings beautifully". This folk song reminds me of the Ukrainian song "The duckiling floats on the Tysnia" about a young man who goes off to war.
