Looks like you need a little more weight on the left rear to keep it from driving left off the line. And maybe stiffen up the compression on your rear shocks to keep it from bouncing as it leaves the line.
We’ve been chasing shock issues with this car for awhile it’s just got to much power for the set up we have. I’m hoping to get some better shocks and adjust on them for it not to do that.
@@brendanbelli8769 I’m thinking that motor is probably putting out 750 to 800. That car has always been a big tire car so that’s what i’ve always put on it
Hey, thank you for replying back. I really appreciate it. The car looks good sounds great. I wish you good luck with it. I subscribed to your videos so I hope to see more of it.

Would help if you are bit more specific. What total timing do you run? What are the cam specs?
Thing is flying!
We Kinda Jump Back and forth with 34-37 degrees of timing.

What did the old motor run?
Are u using 23 degree heads and what size headers I am also have a 434 1st gen Dart little M sportsmen block
Yes 23 degree and i run 1 7/8 inch headers
May I ask what trans and rear gears u using
All nighter hotrod shit is awesome!!!
I like the car reminds me of car a few guys tried to build back in the 80s they just wasn't as fast
Thank you
What compression is the motor
It’s right at 12:1 Compression, But the old 434 we took out of this car had the heads milled and it’s about 12.5:1
Like the car does it have a glass front end by chance also what rpm were you running before you dropped it to 4000 and it slowed down.
Yes it does and we usually launch it about 4700-4900
@@mr.luckyracing7112 Thanks for your reply.
Two questions is that the SHP dart block, and what size tire do you have under the car? I was thinking of going with the SHP.
It’s a Little M Dart block and we run 30 14 size tires
@@mr.luckyracing7112 I’m curious what kind of horsepower are you looking at it and I have the same car why are you running a 14 inch tire?

What cam is in that 434 and what is your final timing?
It is Erson 112 Cam and we play with cam timing anywhere from 2 degrees advance to even sometime 4!
@ .50 duration?
Solid or hydraulic?
Aaaaaaaah, I like it, so Aaaaaaaaah, nice.
Thank you for the support!
What fuel you running I'm running e85 in my truck
We Run C16
What does it do in the quarter
Never ran quarter mile with it. Probably not too good it’s geared to run 1/8th
What does it weight?
That car without a driver weighs just under 2700
@@mr.luckyracing7112 she's a feather 🪶 weight
@@musclebone7875 Ya it’s not too bad
That old guys mouth says he just done a 8ball.
Yep..
Was literally thinking the same !
how much does this car weight?
About 2850 without driver
Good stuff keep the front end down it will run faster
Ya but them big wheel stands are cool😂
Either you’re tracks mph clock is generous or you’re new bullet makes enough steam for you to be running 6.0s .😮
Wut timing did it like
About 34 degrees
Thanks
She's bad SBC always sound's alsome good job son
Thank you
👍🏻
😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Run a smaller tire
That’s what i got my firebird for… I run small tire on it!
That’s 650 horse power
I was just telling another guy that we dinoed the motor alone at like 760 or something i wanna say
@@mr.luckyracing7112 that’s just the et calculator it could be off I put in 3000 pounds and a 6.10
@@jaypisme2343 Oh yeah with me in it car weighs about 3200 but that motor has now gone 5.99
@@mr.luckyracing7112 Can you show the Dyno pulls and results..????
No real drag track near you?
Us 36 Raceway is a pretty nice track to race at and it’s convenient only being 20 minutes away.
Thats one expensive piece of junk
Thank you!!! LOL
Not bad looking good
Thank you
what rpm do u shift what rpm thru the traps
7000 and usually about 7000 through the traps
if u got lot better rods than stock try shifting that slide at 7500@@mr.luckyracing7112
@@dennismoore9147 7 is about as much as i can shift it at, it starts to kinda lug out to the shift after that
I'd assume it makes peak power at or before 6,500 with 434 cubes and the 2.47" mcsa of those afr 235s. Looks like a ton of fun!
@@sc358. Ya it makes a lot of power on the big end!
