      We Kinda Jump Back and forth with 34-37 degrees of timing.

    Looks like you need a little more weight on the left rear to keep it from driving left off the line. And maybe stiffen up the compression on your rear shocks to keep it from bouncing as it leaves the line.

      We’ve been chasing shock issues with this car for awhile it’s just got to much power for the set up we have. I’m hoping to get some better shocks and adjust on them for it not to do that.

    What compression is the motor

      It’s right at 12:1 Compression, But the old 434 we took out of this car had the heads milled and it’s about 12.5:1

    Like the car does it have a glass front end by chance also what rpm were you running before you dropped it to 4000 and it slowed down.

    Two questions is that the SHP dart block, and what size tire do you have under the car? I was thinking of going with the SHP.

      It’s a Little M Dart block and we run 30 14 size tires

      @@brendanbelli8769 I’m thinking that motor is probably putting out 750 to 800. That car has always been a big tire car so that’s what i’ve always put on it

    What cam is in that 434 and what is your final timing?

      It is Erson 112 Cam and we play with cam timing anywhere from 2 degrees advance to even sometime 4!

      7000 and usually about 7000 through the traps

      I'd assume it makes peak power at or before 6,500 with 434 cubes and the 2.47" mcsa of those afr 235s. Looks like a ton of fun!

    my brother has 67 chevy2 run 6flat with 350 he and randy daniels{daniels race eng} just built 434 sb 850 holley 928hp at 8200rpm hoping run 4.80 he built same eng {10 hp less) for man car 50pds heavier brothers runs 4.90. will use powerglide
